A Sad Day Indeed....

Featured Replies

after 12 years of friendship... my beloved Dog Copper had to be put down today, just a little bit ago.... she has been suffering from a possible brain tumor and has so far survived a stroke and many seizures. she was blind in both eyes in a matter of minutes after an episode this morning... she's been a member of this family since i was a child, and has been there for me many a time. She indeed lived life to the fullest up till her time. Her memories shall be cherished and she will be missed by all those within our family. Rest in Peace My Friend.....

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. :D It's a sad time right now for you. I know how it feels to lose a beloved pet. May she rest in peace. Remember the good times you had. She may be gone but not forgotten.
Sorry to hear that, bud. I've been through losing a pet before, too. It isn't a good experience, but just cherish the good times you had with her. Your family here at The Armory is here for you.
My condolences. Almost the exact same thing happened to our 12 year old dog Tigger. He had classic symptoms of a stroke (paralysis on one side of face) and was having seizures...likely cause was a brain tumor. :D
Sorry to hear that, Whitenine. I had a German Shepard/Doberman Pinscher mix that died two years ago at the age of 13 (just simply died in his sleep). It's always hard to let go of a beloved pet.

Word!Condoleances!
I'm sorry to hear about that W9. My family lost our cattle dog Millie about year ago. We had to put her down as well. She was diabetic, had breast cancer, catarax in both eyes, and had breathing problems from being kicked in the face by cattle when she chased them. I'm not sure how old she was...she was about as old as me so she was about 14-15 years. Again, sorry to hear about your loss.
My condolences White9. May 15 has sucked for me since 1989 I dont like to talk about...
It makes me imeasurably sad to hear this. I dread the day I lose one of my pets, but the joy and love they bring into your life is worth so much. The loss of a pet is an unfortunate price we pay. The other option is no pet at all, but I can't imagine not sharing my life, and love, with my little buddies. I am truely sorry to hear about your loss.

Sorry to here that W9, but i would be willing to bet that there is another wonderful dog just waiting to love you. :D

its also good therapy for you and you family.

sorry to hear your sad news w9.I do relate i've always been a pet owner and it's never easy to let them go.
