Unfortunately i wasn't able to see the Packers vs Detroit but i'm glad they won though. I watched the Jet vs Patriots game i have to say that NE still has a chance because of their defense that was the main problem that the Jets couldn't overcome. Favre threw the ball perfectly but the Jets just couldn't get to in time. NE may have one but i still believe the Jets are still a playoff contender. Chargers vs the Broncos i caught the last 3 minutes of that game. I have to say i was impressed with the decision that Denver made to go with the 2 point conversion instead of tying it and going into OT. They made the 2pt conversion but the Chargers with a 1:30 left no timeouts tried their best to get down the field into field goal range. In the end the Charger's QB threw a "hail Mary" that was almost caught in the end zone. My hats off to the Chargers for not giving up. What games did you see?

Air Force Test This will drive you nuts!! Have fun! The object of the game is to move the red block around without getting hit by the blue blocks or touching the black walls. If you can go longer than 18 seconds you are phenomenal. It's been said that the US Air Force uses this for fighter pilots. They are expected to go for at least 2 minutes. Give it a try but be careful...it is addictive!! Can't seem to get more than 10sec after about 5 tries

We traced the server its based in Chicago. We thought that was kinda of weird as well. If it was in NY i'd be pinging around 10

Same here buddy Just got done watching Packers vs Vikings was a very interesting game Aaron Rodgers has shown that he has what it takes to be a Packer QB. Although he may be no Brett Favre he did study under Favre. Some of Favre's techniques were adopted but in the end Rodgers had is own agenda. This was a very sloppy game 23 penalties over half on Green Bay. The last one was a bad one "personal faul LEVERAGE" on Green Bay in attempting to block an extra point. Which resulted in an onside kick by the Vikings and the Packers had a down taken away. Green Bay won 24-19 but there was no reason for that many penalties. Holding was the one called the most then too many on the field. I am glad that Green Bay won their first game showing Brett Favre that they still got it even without him. I'm sure ktown will join me in saying this GO PACK GO!!!!!!!!!

As you all know football season has started and there are some interesting match ups this year. So what i'm proposing is we start a thread about whatever game u watched and what the highlights were of that game and what other comments that you may have. College or NFL it doesn't matter as long as it is football. If the thread seems popular enough it may get a sticky. I'll go first The NY Jets vs Miami Dolphins Favre even though not on Green Bay anymore still has that magic that all of us "cheeseheads" love so much. Although the Jets will have to adapt their style of play to accompany his style it was apparent that this team maybe one to watch for playoff contenders this year.

Even though i have an awesome computer i still don't play with full texture settings (more than likely a vista problem). My view distance is set to max. I play with a high sensitivity on my mouse which enables quick movements. I use keyboard and mouse for the chopper with max sensitivity which allows for those naseauating barrel rolls ask fatty. When i'm in the tank i put my G5 at 2000dpi to swing the turret fast. I also create ambush points if you are following me and i turn behind a wall it is most likely a trap. I'm constantly checking my six no matter what vehicle i'm in or if i'm ground pounding it (Rainbow Six habit). I fire in short controled bursts unless up close and personal. I use high powered weapons with the low magazines aka the G3. When sniping i use a technique called drag shot. I don't stay in one place for a long period of time when sniping. I am a very aggressive player and will try to get the most kills as a i can. As for the planes i have my joystick and keyboard though the joystick is failing i have a unique configuration on the buttons. Trigger and primary fire are the same but my joystick has one button on the left and right. My left button is my chase cam so when i'm being locked on i switch to that to deploy my flares at the right time. When i'm flying i like to stalk my target i switch to guns so i don't give a lock on tone. If i'm flying an you haven't seen me in a while you may want to look behind you. If i get close enough i just may blow out of the sky with the nose cannon. I fire my missiles just before they lock when they do lock on they are in transit with no time to drop flares. Alot of this has come through practice when i first started i sucked at just about everything. On the other note i do admit that bunny hopping and dolphin diving are cheap but i do it anyways. Hopefully this will help some people kill me easier but as i reveal my trade secrets i come up with new ones. If you still don't believe me feel free to take a PB ss. edit: Added Karate kid reference.. as it was appropriate.

Wow Hogan thanks for the great tips. As for the tranny it was serviced earlier this year for hard shifting/clunking into 2nd gear they just changed the fluid and added a detergent. Now that it won't go over 2nd gear they never fixed the problem.

Well its nice to know that i'm not the only one at the moment. Also Matador wouldn't mind seeing some pics.

I get home from hearing a grinding noise coming from underneath the chasis. I go inside grab something to eat then decide i have to go to Lowes to get a couple of things. Then i only realize that my truck won't go faster than 30mph. How i got home from work is beyond me. It sounds like the governor could be stuck in gear. 1st gear works ok but 2nd is no good. So tomorrow morning i get to have it towed to the dealer i got it from. Thank God i have a 4yr warranty which covers transimission work. So anyone else got car trouble at the moment or am i the only unlucky one.

Not always. I've been kicked from a server by PB and it will say nothing. If we didn't need pb so much i wouldn't be using it. Once you get home find me on vent and i will help ya out.

PB short for Punkbuster. This is the anti-cheat program for BF2. This program is so much garbage unfortunately you have to have it. Since you say its only BF2 this inclines me to believe that it is pb. On the homepage of the site in middle right hand side of th page there are 2 pb icons. Click the second one and install the pbsvc. Also make sure your pb is up to date. Do this by clicking the pbsetup link. Install the program and run it. Most connection/lag/CTD problems have been caused by PB. Since the pb services A and B monitor your computer if one of them quits sending info to Evenbalance (creators of pb) then you lose your connection to the BF2 master server which therfore does one of two things. It may just cause a disconnection or it may cause a crash to desktop. In rare cases it can cause a temporary lock up of the system. Let it be known though BF2 does have a memory leak which will also cause the same problems. If it was purely internet you would lose ur connection to vent as well which you didn't last night. Reinstall pbsvc then install and run pbsetup. After that run BF2 if it still happens we may have to go deeper.
