  1. Thanks I'll give it a shot.
  2. What is the command in COD4 to check your fps? What about BF2142? Wanted to check my setup out, to see if I should lower my settings to up my fps. Some one suggested it might help with my headaches if the fps didn't drop below the refresh rate of my screen. Wanted to give it a shot.
  3. I think it looks sweet.
  4. If you factor in the cost of the BlueRay disks the PS3 only costs around $140 and what do you need to watch BlueRay movies? A player. And at $140 this is the cheapest player around. BlueRay is superior in quality to Hddvd, I still don't think it will win the war.
  5. http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/format-war/dealzmodo-ps3-plus-15-free-blu+ray-discs-for-499-324683.php Dealzmodo: PS3 Plus 15 Free Blu-ray Discs for $499 http://gizmodo.com/assets/resources/2007/11/ps3walmart.png As part of Walmart's Thanksgiving madness, you can get an 80GB Playstation 3 plus 10 Blu-ray discs (under $30 in value), plus the 5 free titles you can get with mail-in rebate. That's the biggest deal we've seen on HD discs since the $99 HD DVD players. This bloody format war, we call it the digital Vietnam. [Walmart via Crave's Erica Ogg]

Xmas! its not even Xgiving yet! You should ask for loving parents, a safe environment to grow up in, a good education, and a happy life. Those are the things that count when you are young. Even if you don't realize it now. You will eventually. Be gratefull for the things you have, and don't lust for the things you "want". What you want and what you need are rarely the same thing. As for your mom give her as day as a mom, a 15 year old is a very independent person. Maybe your mom wants a day with you, take her to lunch, take her shopping, go to the book store with her. Ask what she would like to do, make it her day. No complaining, whining, or asking for stuff. I know my mother wants just to be a part of my life, maybe your mother wants the same.
  8. I've got that same monitor.
  9. Yeah make it short and wide.
  10. Awesome! Could you send me your backup? Mine looks like your stats after you lost them.
  11. Yes it is, I can't play the game anymore. I guess that's just some of the prob. Gator's suggestion of not running is a good one. When I don't run its not as bad, but you have to run sometimes, press the shift and visit medicine cabinet. I want this fixed, I think the game looks great and it is a very welcomed change. TF2, BF2, and ETQW here I come.
  12. http://www.theinquirer.net/gb/inquirer/news/2007/11/18/south-korea-puts-boot South Korea puts boot to cyberspace addiction Stupid is as Stupid does By John Oram: Sunday, 18 November 2007, 8:39 PM OK, IF YOU'RE reading this one you probably have it. Cyberspace addiction, that is! So quick, get your airline ticket to South Korea and enter the Jump Up Internet Rescue School. There, you will learn to get up from your keyboard by going ?through military-style obstacle courses," where counselors lead group sessions, and ... "even therapeutic workshops on pottery and drumming? says the International Herald Tribune. INQminds have a simpler and less expensive suggestion: take a long walk around your local neighbourhood. South Korea appears to be breaking addictive behaviour pattern with lots of regimented drills. They are a major part of what the South Korean boot camp is suggesting you do. South Korea has a checklist for diagnosing the addiction and its severity called the K-scale (K for Korea). The government claims 2.4 million people under 18 in South Korea are at risk (We're all doomed ? Ed). More young men all over the world would have this addiction if their local ISP worked as fast as the average South Korean high-speed broadband. Ninety percent of the country has blazingly fast, 3-megabits-per-second broadband at home, and similarly high-speed wireless connections on the road. Much faster than the Turks think USA's broadband is capable of. The telecom market in korea is fiercely competitive, and broadband service costs the Korean consumer less than $20 a month. The South Korean government is such a believer in its fix for this addiction that it has built a network of 140 Internet-addiction counseling centres along with treatment programs at over 100 hospitals. Obviously there is either a problem or a booming business model was sold to the public. American youth Boot Camps have a rather poor track record for assisting anybody. Do the Koreans have a better plan? ?
  13. It's still missing a little something. Can't put my finger on it. Oh yeah!................... (=A=) tilgado Fractured ....... or something like that.
  14. Dude that is nuts. The end of the world it near.
  15. From what I've read the only games worth getting are the Sports, and Mario party. The Wii is more of a place where more than one person can have fun. I've been reading articles saying that Wii game sales are horrible. People don't buy Wii's for their game selection, they buy them because of the "Wii would like to play" and other commercials that show families and or groups of people playing having fun "together." I believe this is why demand for the Wii is so high and the game sales are so low. So stick with the ones that you play with your kids, or that they can play with other kids. Save the dedicated gaming for the big boy consoles or the PC. I was looking to get a Wii, but not because I expect to be blown away visuals, physics, or game play, but for the atmosphere I would hope it might foster. The atmosphere presented in those commercials. You know I want some thing that I can do with my wife, and niece and nephew. DDR rocks for that.
  16. Hopefully some day there will be. So everyone go to the InfinityWard forums in the link I posted above and post, post, post. Let's get this taken care of.
  17. Thanks. I sure hope so. I will not be able to play this game any more until something is done. I'm so depressed. I also posted over at the charlieoscardelta.com forums too. Like one man ever made a difference. It's worth a shot. http://charlieoscardelta.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=78002&highlight=motion+sickness+domo
  18. I don't know which ones I would have picked but tell me if you were as dissapointed as I was. Top 10 Movie Fights Travis Meacham March 20, 2007 11:06 Introduction My recent viewing of "300" got me thinking about fight scenes in films. What makes a fight scene good or bad? For me there are several factors that go into it. First of all, the fight has to be interesting, and I'm approaching a level of saturation with martial arts fights - I've seen about all I can take. That's not to say I don't love some good kung fu, but it has to be really good. Additionally, it has to be photographed well. A good fight is nothing if I can't see it, and I prefer longer takes from wider angles as opposed to those tight shots that are cut together in quick succession. 21. http://www.tomsgames.com/us/2007/11/16/crysis_demo_vs_full/ Crysis: Demo vs Full Version Performance Travis Meacham November 16, 2007 09:19 The Hard Truth Crysis is finally out and no doubt many of you are working your way through it now. Before we post our review we wanted to quickly revisit our earlier article where we did some benchmarking with the single-player demo. If you're like us you were more than a little disappointed when the Crysis demo ravaged your computer hardware turning a once mighty machine into a stuttering, panting reminder that you need to upgrade. Still we held out hope. We thought to ourselves, "Well this isn't final code so it's not optimized yet," and, "it probably isn't fully utilizing all the available cores". No excuses will save us now. With the final code in hand I went back to my test system for some comparison runs to the numbers from the demo. Continues here..................http://www.tomsgames.com/us/2007/11/16/crysis_demo_vs_full/
  22. If COD4 works out for me like 2142 did, I'll never get there.
  23. Great, thanks. I've gotten my hopes up.
  24. Oh no! Say it ain't so. You were an 8 star General for the second time around weren't you.
