I thought it was only for consoles. There is an update coming out for BF2 maybe it'll have some new content or something else that might make it more fun for veterans of the game. We'll keep our fingers crossed.

There's a link I was sent I will find it for you. There is a commmand that you insert in your game run shortcut that will make whatever resolution show no matter what your in game resolution shows as. It may be the same command listed above. If anyone can find it before I do let him know. I will look for it. I asked the same question not to long ago so that is why I know.

No I don't. I'm here in Texas on a job, but there is a mandatory evacuation of Vermilion parish. My wife is gonna stay with my parents, a few miles further north. I may make it down there if this rig decides to let me go home. I hope I get to go home to keep my wife from losing her mind. I hope we make it through ok.

I don't know what the deal is with mine. The max res is 12 something and when I go to enable the AA by hitting apply it just zero's out the setting. It won't take a number. :thumbsup:

I'm having some difficulty enabling AA in BF2. Does anyone know what may be occuring? Also, why can't I set the game to my native screen res of 1680x1050?

GREAT GOOGALLY MOOGALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get two and watch that bad boy fly! I'm thinking about an Intel chipset with two 3870's, that would be a monster. They're coming out with a 3870 X2 soon! The 3870 is just as fast as the 260, and slightly less than the 280. The 3870 is 1/2 the price of the 280, so for the price of two 3870's you, it would cost the same as the 280 and destroy that card! Finally AMD is back in the GFX card race. This is an exciting time indeed. The 2870 also uses much less power. This is the first time I've been excited about a GFX card since the 8800GT. I actually gave my nephew my standard clock GT and kept the EVGA SC, I'm never home so SLi seemed like a waste, he'll appreciate the card much more than I will. It's time to look at AMD again. With the added benifits of the OC'ing abilities of the X35/X45 Intel chipset, I can make a screamer for much less than an nVida chipset. Too bad I just bought my 750i FTW. I'm upset. If I can get a few good months under my belt, at work, I can smell the ozone my next upgrade will be producing. Darn you Ding for one upping us all.

Joe and I just played with this guy, Flegmbot, he is insane in a jet. Joe and I told him we'd be on tomorrow (Thursday) night. It would be great if we could get him in a game and make a new bud. I've been at work for a few weeks. I can't play when I'm out here. When at I'm work I'm gone, I'm just lucky I have the internet at all. I work for an energy services company here on the gulf coast. When the office calls I hop in a truck drive to a dock, or out to some location somewhere, and live there for weeks at a time. Playing games is not an option, even if I had a jamming laptop to bring with me the pings on the satellites range between 700 and 30000, the latter only sometimes. When you met me biogeek I was home for a 3 week stint, it was a fluke and not likely to happen again this year, but we can always hope. :thumbsup: I'd love to help you biogeek, I'll play as soon as I get back home. Promise. Hey could someone add biogeek to the ETQW clan roster so that he can see when clan members are online without having to add them as friends? I think Sharp or Shadow know how to do this.
