  1. Gratz, mate! It's a lot of hard work, but worth it.

Tried it, wasn't all that thrilled with it. I like to play, not be stuck in some queue for over half the game. Personally, I didn't care much for Red Orchestra either. Just not my style of game.
  3. Replayability is always a hard thing to work with. There aren't many games that can claim they have it. There are some though, which developers should learn from. Even Diablo 1 & 2 are still being played in Korea so they must have done something right with those (for example). I think the biggest problem is that they are so focused on eye candy that they forget about gameplay. IMHO, it's about gameplay first and eye candy second. I don't need cutting edge graphics if the game isn't fun to play...

Closed Beta started this past weekend. It was a soft release to the alpha testers so they could do some intial testing. We managed to find quite a few bugs, most have been fixed and will be released in the next patch (hopefully this week). There are still some balancing issues to be dealt with, hopefully those will be taken care of this week as well. They'll be making their official announcement soon.
  5. IMO, they are only making the Clark on par with the Assualt shotgun attachment. It fires faster than the Clark atm. But, in design it may look good but when it's actually in play, that could be something entirely different. We'll have to wait and see.
  6. A-10's are also known as warthogs, aren't they?
  7. Just saw it. That movie ROCKS HARDCORE!! Anyone who knows anything about Transformers should go see it. Heck, even if you don't know anything about Transformers, you should go see it. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I loved the "parent talk", that was hilarious. Anyway, I gonna try to not spoil anything. You just have to go see this movie.
  8. Looks more like a UT mod than "cutting edge technology" to me...

Well, Flagship is using EA for Hellgate. But they are only distributing the game as they have no say-so in the development process, thankfully.

Tell me about it. It's been 2 months since the Alpha ended. They finally updated the main site news post today. They've closed the server down as of noon today to prepare for the closed beta. All characters are getting wiped and they are resetting the forums.

Bumped because the Closed Beta will be starting "soon".
  12. *Bumped for newness*

So basically they made the Clark on par with the Assault shotty attachment. Well, that's not so bad now I guess. *Raises hand* I might be one of those people, although I don't do the quote. I'll have to remember that one...

You don't need a scope. 3 shots at medium range will take anyone out. It's not hard to hit people if you can aim.
  15. My background is usually whatever game I happened to be into at the time. That way, it rotates out as I move from game to game.
  16. Welcome, mate.
  17. Eh, depends on if he has an extra $10 laying around. Getting the new weapons as permanent unlocks is nice. And the new maps are fun to play if you can find a server to play on.
  18. Bleh, I was in a hurry with my previous post that I forgot to proof it... LoL! Makes more sense now.
  19. Don't feel bad Biscuit. I used to be like you... That's until I got married and had a daughter. Now I'm in denial and craving me some gaming binging like mad...
  20. I've only played 190 hours. I got bored after getting Brig. General and went to play some other games (Mythos, and C&C3 to name a few). I'm playing a little bit again bit not as much as I did when it first came out. Of course, that's not counting Beta and the Demo. :warning: On a side note, if you love playing Diablo 2 then you should check out Hellgate:London. It's by the same team under a new company. I plan on getting the Collector's Edition and paying the subscription. HG:L is gonna rock !
  21. I knife every once in awhile. I still prefer to shoot them. Enemy w/ knife + Me w/ gun = Dead enemy and a live me = One happy me. I'll go for the dogtags if I know I can do it and live. I rarely have a showdown because someone will inevitably come along and shoot one of us anyway... Heh.
  22. I loved the Assault Line game mode. I wish they would do that to the regular assault maps. I hate with the normal assault that one recon with camo can back cap so easily if people aren't paying attention. Either you have to baby sit the back flags (which is way boring) or risk losing your six to someone who manage to slip by your main force. Plus, I love speeders. Nuff said on that one. Siege of Leipzig is an awesome map. I love the close quarters fighting on it. And there's no bottlenecking like with the Berlin map which makes me happy. And finally... I still have yet to get the Assault Lines pin for my award collection... :warning:
  23. LoL, I think someone doesn't like knifers... Much anger, that one has...
  24. I earned my Collector's Gold the legit way. No knifing servers for me. Although the camo unit became my best friend.
  25. The best knifing video on YouTube! EDIT: Stupid youtube link...
