I'm in a similar boat. After I played DefCon once it wrecked my 2142. I couldn't move the cursor in the spawn screen and keys didn't work. I had to re-install 2142 and patch it. Since that time, I've had nothing but chop. Last night I dl'ed the manual patches from evenbalance. Guess we'll try it tonight and see. If all else fails you might consider a fresh install and such. In the meantime kick your tower and yell at it. If it won't work for you it's better to just humiliate it in front of the mouse and keyboard.

In my clinical experience a common headache comes from an irritation of the C2-C3 nerve root. It forms the Greater Auricular nerve which pretty much covers the entire scalp, and temple, and then innervates the outer portion of the eardrum. Migraines are often the result of a spinal misalignment at C1 also known as the "atlas." This typically causes Headache, Fatigue, Halos in Vision, Nausea, Vertigo, and sometimes Facial Pain. If you're interested, I can find one local to you that practices the technique I use. My success rate is very high, in the 90th percentile.

Enough to get by. I have to do certain things to ensure the framerate doesn't chug. I think I'm approaching the end of using this as a gaming machine. I'm trying to decide on whether to have Dell put one together for me or have it custom-made from pricewatch parts. Any advice would be appreciated. And thanks for the specs, it gives me something to shoot for.
