  3. thanks bravo I seen these in the NEX and was wondering where else to get them since they don't stay in stock long or the choices are limited. Saw a navy one for my rate Master At Arms might have to pick that one up and a sea bee one hehe.
  4. I have to say cranival cruise, my bro and I are taking one next year for his 40th birthday and my retirement from Navy. We should have an Armory cruise that would be a hoot! everybody to the lido deck at midnight for the party WOOT!!!

ok TomC is from my name Tom Cannan not real tricky. I have also gone by Navarmor Because I ran an armory for a bit last duty station. Hmm cb133 and tomc133 the 133 was the Sea Bee battalion I was with. Way back in the mid eighties through the mid nineties, I went with Judge Dredd on the local BBS scene. There might be a few folks here that remember those.
  11. that bug is all over my daughter came down with it on Sat then early Sunday morning my wife got it. Had one patrolman down last night with it. I keep praying i don't get it nothings worse than hugging the porcelain god every hour. Hope your feeling better wolfey here it seems to be a 24 hour bug then your done with it.
  12. the snorks are freaky, I had a few jumpy moments once when I was in the underground tunnels and one of those invisible creatures popped out and became visible in front of me unexpectedly. The next was the entity following me around and throwng stuff. When it first started it threw a jawbone at me and It was out of the blue. Scared the crap out of me. I'm on my way to the x16 lab to get intel, sounds like you guys are past that point.

wayta go buddy! double woot for you
  14. I found what I was looking for there is an entity that you have to kill in the room I'm in. On a side note I found out while looking for a tip or two on the game that its loosely based on a book called Roadside Picnic. A movie by a Andrea Tarkovski was later made also loosely based on the book called Stalker. I may have to grab the movie it looks pretty decent for its time.
  15. has anyone figured out how to kill the dang fire anomalies. I'm stuck in a room with this fire whipping around and cant figure out how to destroy them.
  16. yep may not be perfect but its a start, I knew about the five dollar a month fee, if it can do 2142 then its worth it to me. Wine is supposedly mature enough to run WOW, also crossover the alternative to cedega runs WOW. One of the Linux Action show podcasts talked about getting WOW working and I think he said it was running fairly well, not great but enough to be playable.
  17. hmm good to see cedega moving forward. Ubuntu linux with Beryl desktop rocks. The beryl eye candy is very slick. I just installed vista on my laptop because it was a free upgrade and so far I'm not that impressed. Aero Glass has nothing on Beryl. So now if I can play some of the newer games decently with cedega I wont be dual booting hehehe!
  18. cheers to all thanks for making this such a great place to be!

  23. Have you ever heard the cover of straight out of Compton sung by Nina Gordon? That one is hilarious since the song was hard core gangster RAP and she is singing it as if its a song like the one above. otL6FvpALQg
