  1. Just curious, more on the topic of the beacon podding itself, but wouldn't have DICE had to programmed the pod moving for it to work in the first place? Kinda seems odd that you'd be able to move the pod so easily when that wasn't even intended. ??? .
  2. I prefer PCs over Macs also but I've noticed a lot of people who enjoy Macs like the no nonsense use of the computer. They just want to do what they are working on and basically don't care that its even a computer. Computer enthusiasts on the other hand like PCs because of its customizability hardware and software wise. But if you're going straight for audio, video, surfing, word processing, etc I see why people can like them because Macs work very well for all those things.
  3. Either get the X1950 or the 8800 640MB, don't bother with the 320MB because I had two in SLI and it had lag issues due to the fact that it doesn't unload gaming files. This is a known issue with certain games. As for the DX10 thing, it is purely a selling point because DX10 games don't run as good as DX9 games do. BIOSHOCK runs 20FPS less in DX10 than DX9. The 8 series cards can do DX10 but they are honestly very good DX9 cards. DX10 wont be worth it until the end of 2008 once OS, VGA and games actually use DX10 to its potential. So please don't use the DX10 thing as a selling point....... So like I said before, either save the money and get the AMD card or spend another 100 on top of the 8800 320MB and get the 640MB.
  4. . Yeah it was a really good movie. I'm glad the action and special effects don't necessarily carry the movie like a lot of other lame-os. The movie has a good story also. It was really funny, the entire audience during the movie laughed at the sex scene, but not any other part; ironic. . Its definently R rated, but good.
  5. I just got a laptop from Dell with Vista Home Premium. I'm excited to see how it all runs...
