Its updated and works, PLEASE PLEASE put CD back on the server.There has been so much BS about ppl cheating lately, and CD is the only anti-cheat that blocks commercial cheats that so many ppl use.. The players deserve to know they are playing a fair game again.

These are the Crosshairs I posted on the FA-Forums.In their Origional release.You might want to stick with the "Neon-greens", or the "Red circle-yellow center" as I've had the best luck with those 2.all files should go into the firearms\sprites folder.there should be no folder within sprites, so make sure they went to the right spot.For a complete set of Crosshairs, there should be 1. crosshairs.spr2. all the weapon.txt's (ak47.txt, m249.txt ect...) from the different Color folders3. all of the scp_*****.spr for the scoped weapons. dshooterv2.zip dshooterv2.zip

I know that steam messes up all Crosshairs, so these probably won't look so hot till Valve fixes this POS called steam, and makes crosshairs not blur and look poopy.These are my newest Crosshairs, they work great. ALthough they might not be your style.

you guys do know that it was Soulja[X] that crashed the forums right?He's been showing up at different servers, wallhacking and aimbotting. then when ppl threaten to ban him he changes his name to soulja[X], then nobody does anything.wtf :?

hey, I need some serious input here guys.Since Firearms Forums are down, its been really frustrating trying to figure this out.the Steam Forums are less than welcoming to non-cs mods, cause all the jerks that psot ther are from the CS community, and could care less about FA or how to help fix it. As long as CS is working fine they don't care.So here is waht I've tried1. tried all Video modes (d3d, openGL, software) Software actually doesn't mess up the crosshairs, but software isn't playable cause its so damn slow n ugly.2. tried fresh installs or both steam and FA.3. used 5 different Crosshair packs, ending with same result.4. tried different HL settings that might adjust the way sprites are processed, only luck was with a command (gl_spriteblend 1, 0) this only removes the dark overtones that are added to all sprites with Steam.5. Cried and screamed at my Computer and learned to hate Steam.That about sums it up.Some ppl have a problem with steam causing blurry Crosshairs, some ppl don't. But it seems as though there are alot more ppl that do.When I was testing my Crosshairs on (old pre Steam) FA, I noticed that in OpenGL the sprites would look nice and clean, under Direct3d they would be slightly darkened and blurred just like they're doing in steam. Its almost as though sprites are being processed in direct3d, and the rest of the game is being rendered in openGL. IN (Pre-Steam) FA and HL i remember a setting in Video options where you set gamma, there was a setting [ ] Draw faster Software Sprites.This setting does not exist for Steam.I'm really boggled as I'm sure taht alot of you guys are.It's going to be really hard to compete in CAL with BLurry inaccurate Crosshairs, Scoped crosshairs and all sprites in general are being blurred.

I know that I'm not the only one having this problem with steam, I was on the HK(STEAM) clan server today and it was my first time trying FA on steam.I asked around if anyone else was having problems with Crosshairs being Blurred, it seems that everyone playing was having a problem.I tried going through every command I knew, and testing every video setting. Nothing seemed to remove the Blur from my crosshairs.I tried 4 different sets of Crosshairs, "Standard 2.7" "D'sShooters" "Dex's crosshairs" and a set that I got from 3NF.Nothing helped.This problem is not only for NON-scoped crosshairs, but for scopes x-hairs as well.Its almost an antialiasing effect on the sprite, making each pixel x4.Anyone have a solution?

yeah but I redid them, so now they're in a slightly higher res.They are exactly as accurate as Dex's now, just in the style that I did. So go grab them Zandler, they're much improved.

Kywalker, go to my post on the FIREARMS forums, I posted a little help section at the bottom of my post, This should clarify what you have to do to get them to work.

I would like to suggest using the"Redrings yellow center" or"Medium green yellow center"

No longer a secret. I saw my clanmates get alot better aim when I gave them out to my guys, so I was hesitant to release them. But, since everyone uses Dex's crosshairs anyway, there is no longer a reason to keep them secret. This has to be my favorite all time screen. Gravis and Wookeh sprayed me down with Uzi, then both ran around like idiots trying to reload, in the panic they both ran into eachother effectively stopping both of them in their tracks. Ahahaha, to many egotistical ppl out there. If they can't win, they're gonna make damn sure that you don't either.Sadly enough this is not old news.I got banned from TDS (POP's clan server) before it became TTP, for doing nothing else but being better than anyone else there.Don't take it to hard, but thanks for the heads up on another loser FA server.

I really really like Morrowind, has alot of D&D style stuff going on it in.storyline maybe not perhaps, but its still the best SIngle player only RPG experience that I have played..Graphics A++storyline A+Size of the world A++Unique and magic items A+enchantable items, concoct your own spells, Pick plants from the different parts of the world and mix them to produce your own potions. A+++2 expansion packs, and a buttload of Mods available.overall Nice game.

I used to complain when Grr_'s would stack teams to, but now I'm one of them LOL. We try to balence the teams, but ppl see one team winning on the server and they always hop teams.We tell the ppl that hopped to go back when we notice it, but they don't always listen to us or sometimes anyone for that matter.If anything maybe if will make better players out of the ppl that play at TA, but then again who knows. Thats how I got better.... was playing against ppl that are really good, some times it gets frustrating especially when ppl stack teams.

1st, Get mIRCgo to #clangrrtalk to meget one the best crosshairs you've ever seen.I only give these out to Clan members, or ppl that I can trust not to hand out to anyone and use them specifically for themselves.If I don't know you well or don't know you at all, don't even bother to ask.

People on TA seem to SKill stack to, I would be a Hypocrite if I said that I havn't done this as well.but there ahs to be a Plugin or a Server Option to balence teams for the first 5 mints of the game, which is usually the most Crucial. That or maybe allow team select to Random Only for a few weeks.Games that have fair and even teams usually are some of the Best games I've ever played, but more often that not ppl stack teams Player wise and mostly Skill wise way to much at TA. ALways ends up Noobs or the average players vs Clanners and really Good players.

IF you have an Optical Pad, make sure its not on a SHiny or Reflective surfave, Tranparent PAds will cause the same effect.An optical mouse can only track well on textured or Dark surfaces, WHite and clear pads are the worst for Mouse pads. Dunno if thats the problem you are having , other thing maybe a Driver issue.. dunno.

Only Reason that I still play BattleField 1942 is because of a Mod called DESERT COMBAT.If you don't know about it yet, Please find out.REgular Battlefield is just a Stupid Buggy POS, Desert Combat is how BattleField SHould have been.

Simplest way for me to put this is..AMD runs as fast as INtel per LAbel until the Xp3000+ came out.Look at the CLock speeds.AMD chips can run competetively at Huge differences in CLock speed = More efficient Processor.INtel has the MHZ advantage, but thats not saying much when a AMD 2200 mhz chip can compete head to head with an INTEL 2800 mhz chip.Same Reason IM buying into ATI for my screen cards, they run as fast or faster aat Marginally Reduced Clock and memory speeds compared to Nvidia. I support any Product that can Compete against Microblows and INtel.and I support not having a Serial Tracker (cough Pentium) and (Cough Longhorn) OS's that will eventually Not allow you to Look at or even own things that aren't Microsoft Aproved.
