  1. I don't need them all I want a floppy drive "just in case" http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/category/category_slc.asp?CatId=630 Those were the prices, and that's why I didn't want to spend $25 on a floppy drive (Canadian) I'll just grab the old one, not like I'll use it much anyways. My total cost is $590 + $41.15 S & H, $97.81 Taxes (stupid 15%!) (but I get $100 in mail-in-rebates )
  2. Oh yeah, the extra money could be used on more RAM, need more RAM.
  3. I'm trying to save as much money as possible on my computer, and I remembered about the old computer we have downstairs (1994 maybe)So I was wondering if the floppy drive technology has changed so much that I couldn't salvage that old floppy drive. (still works) I can also grab the speakers temporarily from it, and even the 15" monitor if need be. I don't think I'll use the Floppy drive too often, so I don't really want to spend $30 on a new one. So, could I salvage that floppy drive? Or has the new technology affected them too. Just wondering. -Sock
  4. Hmmm, if it's not too scary, I may pick it up in a few months. I need all the money I can possibly get

  9. You will need to close all open windows and all open applications prior to following the next steps. Please copy and paste these steps, or print them out before proceeding. 1. Click "Start" in the bottom left corner of your screen. 2. Select "Run" from the menu that appears. 3. Type "Command" (without the quotes) in the "Run" dialog. 4. In the new window that has appeared: If you are using Windows XP, type "cd c:\windows\system32" (without the quotes) and press the "Enter" key. If you are using Windows 95/98/ME, type "cd c:\windows\system" (without the quotes) and press the "Enter" key. If you are using Windows 2000 or Windows NT, type "cd c:\winnt\system32" (without the quotes) and press the "Enter" key. If you have installed Windows on a different drive (e.g. d:) or directory (e.g. c:\windows2) then you will need to type the appropriate drive letter and/or directory above. 5. In the same window If you are using Windows 95/98/ME , type "regsvr /u /s toolbar.dll" (without the quotes) and press the "Enter" key. If you are using Windows NT/2000/XP , type "regsvr32 /u /s toolbar.dll" (without the quotes) and press the "Enter" key. 6. In the same window type "del toolbar.dll" (without the quotes) and press the "Enter" key. 7. In the same window type "exit" (without the quotes) and press the "Enter" key. The command window should now be closed and the iSearch toolbar has been permanently removed from your system. You can open a new Internet Explorer browser to test the successful removal.Try that, if it doesn't work, it doesnt work.

  13. Emo's: The next generation of serial killers.-e-"I killed him because of a game, not because I'm messed up in the head, and can't tell real from fake" Take responsibility for your actions, terds. There were violent murders 100 years ago, 200 years ago, hell, all through history. I doubt, that if you calculate the percent of murders per say, 10,000 people, it would not dramatically rise in this era. The idiots just have something to blame now. Same goes with the "My parents hit me when I was a child" Another excuse to put the blame on someone else. Also, this is a million dollar ad, for free. They are getting more publicity from the controversy than actual ads. It's sad.
