www.global-conflict.org This is a very cool tournament. Basically, you make an account, sign up with the BF2 tournament, and then choose a side (US or EC). Then, you gain access to either of the side's forums (matters who you choose) from there you can post up your info in the squad sections to be recruited into one of the squads, or post around in that sides discussion forum. There is also loads of other forum sections (Help sections, general discussion, etc.) Basically, one (or multiple, I"m not sure) people are voted from each side by the members of either side to be that side's general. The general is presented with a map with territories. They place their 'armies' (groups of players) and their capitols in their currently owned territories. Then, on Battledays (Saturdays and Sundays I do believe) the general chooses an enemy territory to attack. The random map that was choosen for that territory by the game masters is played on, and if the invading force wins a certain number of rounds, that side gets the territory, if they lose, nothing happens (I believe, I'm still new to it) I've signed up, definatly hope it's a good time. Just giving you guys the heads up on this.

Whenever I'm in the gunner position of a helicopter, I love using the TV guided missiles they're so effective, and simple, I can't believe others haven't figured them out yet

  8. Enders replied to primesuspect's topic in Gaming
not really, it doesn't need blood to be a good gameand they keep it out so they can sell it in European countries, where blood is restricted
  9. a demo (aka Demostration) is basically a snippet of the game that draws people in to buy it.They aren't going to make helicopters and planes ANY EASIER to fly (because, honestly, there as easy as they can be now without having an autopilot feature) before the game comes out.
  10. "It's ok computer, I still love you, it's just...everyone else has nicer...NO WAIT! COME BACK! NOOOOOOO!"
  11. yes it is the mx mice are awesome for games (but I wouldn't recommand the 1000 for people who lift a lot)
  12. Sounds kind of communist I don't know, my parents told not to touch anything related to commies!

de·fib·ril·la·tor (d-fbr-ltr, -fbr-) n. An electrical device used to counteract fibrillation of the heart muscle and restore normal heartbeat by applying a brief electric shock
  14. you're being harshEA won't enforce this 12 minute time limit on the retail edition, it's only for the demo. The fact is, if they do decide to bully down on private servers, you can easily fight back. If you're paying for a server, for a game you bought, you have to right to do what you want with the server for the game YOU bought. EA does suck, but I can understand why they're enforcing these restrictions on the demo...basically so everyone can get the same playing experiance, and thus draw better conclusions. The only thing that is getting my kind of frustrated is the ranking thing. But you don't really need to worry about that either. A community made server-side mod will be released that will connect private servers to the rank system will come out. That's my prediction anyway
  15. ugh after playing with, and without the timelimit, with the timelimit on, it feels like you can do barely anything. And there just doesn't seem to be a reason to join a squad if any advances you do have to be made in 12 minutes
  16. they forsake some realism for what we call 'fun'
  17. I play it, I use the name The Professional  and sorry, but no one can beat my katana/glock18 combo
  18. EDIT: nvm, works only in singleplayer, didn't see that part
  19. wow nice speech, I can definatly feel where he's coming from

you shouldn't wear the tag unless you're accepted I saw you today playing, and didn't know who you were
  21. it was plainly obvious that the mother of the child (and the child him/herself) were just out for the money. Their story changed way too much to have anything reliable. MJ is innocent, and although he is creepy looking, you can't base the verdict on his looks.
  22. a good example of this (and one that works really good) is the mod for UT2k4 called Red OrchestraIt's a WWII Eastren Front realism mod. In tanks, when you move the turrent, at the bottom you see a kind of ghost image of where you want to go, that moves normally. But then the real turrent image kind of follows behind, a lot slower (moving at the pace a normal tank turrent does) you can move back and forth all you want, but you have to wait for the tank turrent to catch up to where you want to aim
  23. it's annoying because there aren't many effective anti-tank weapons. As I said, good anti-tank (1 shot kill) stationary weapons in the spawn would be helpful
