I had my loop fail and two HDs got "wet" one SSD and one HD. turned it off before it started smoking. Long story short a bag of rice some H2O desiccant measures and 24hrs later everything worked. I have had H2O cooling for over 10 yrs and It has failed once and it was 6yrs old when it failed so, draw your own conclusions....or you can believe everything you watch on the internet. -
If this is there idea of "Hardcore" they should rename it "Softcore". I guess they have to make the people who want HUDs, mini maps and 3 or 4 shot rifle kills happy first...

I agree the flying was difficult to say the least. Alpha is Alpha so there is lots of room for improvement. In free play I found a couple cool instances with boss battles, pretty cool but I never got any loot...

EA is sending invites to the closed Alpha (December 8-9). Hopefully the CO-OP is playable for the Alpha and we can get a 4 man squad or two going that weekend!!! I think this game could be awesome . I enjoy Bioware games and hope they do a good job on this one. I know they know how to make great single player games and hopefully they can integrate the CO-OP in a way that's fun for people who like playing both. Cinematic trailer Game play

Honestly, I have seen both of you (Axle & Gator) being negative about games you don't like/want to play and it really doesn't add anything to a discussion. I was looking forward to being in a squad with both of you again but o well. Anyway the fact that its pushed back to November release means I might have enough saved for one of them fancy new cards. Frankly I don't care who plays BF5 as long as I don't have to play BF4 with Rogue anymore I will be happy....

I don't care if they wait until next year to release it, as long it is 100% ready. Having servers ready to rent would have been nice at launch too but o well. I am a patient man.

I am building a new computer soon and this might be on the shopping list. I usually don't buy the latest greatest GPU when I build a system but I might this time.

Don't worry Gator I'm sure BFV will have a couple Locker/Metro/Fort De Vaux/Achi Baba etc maps without vehicles to get your COD fix.

This has been a pipe dream for a long time. I remember an FPS game called Shadowrun(2007) made by Microsoft and designed for multiplayer with PC and Xbox players. It was an interesting idea and I almost bought it but before I could Microsoft stopped the cross platform multiplayer because the console monkeys complained about inequities between PC players and console players, I'm sure you can guess who was kicking ass and chewing bubble gum.... Bottom line it isn't fair for console players at least for FPS games.

Thanks for adding info to the original post Gator. It is fun so far. I have played for a couple hours and the players I have been playing with have been great, everyone is willing to help you out. It is still buggy but very playable and enjoyable. I realized it's time to upgrade my computer. Rogue I will be on TS tonight if you want to play together.

I would like to try Incursions but I don't want to play with random "seat moisteners" that don't have mics and or are morons. let me know or find me on TS later in the evenings on Friday, Saturday and this weekend Sunday.
I only play on Friday and Saturday nights, the rest of the week is family time. My kids are in bed so they don't really notice and my wife has accepted the fact that at 10 on Friday and Saturday when I go in the computer room and close the door It's me time. This has been the arrangement in my house for years now, I am happy with it and more importantly my wife is happy with it. Remember happy wife happy life.
