okay i reinstalled FA Full Version and i still get that error message -sigh-, steam doesn't like me

yeah, i already played fa using steam, and then just now i decied to play and that error can up.

Everytime i wanna join a server it says preparing to play half-life...then like 10 seconds later it says the game is currently unavailable, please try again another time. plz help me

Well i got it to work. Turns out that if i start cheating death before steam it won't work. but when i tunr on steam first choose a server then when it says preapareing to play half life thats when i turn cheating death and, and t works. YAY me so happy. Once again thanks to all how gave me advice on how to solve my problem

well surpisingly last night in a final attempet of the day to make steam work...it worked. So i'm guessing sometimes it will freeze and other times it will not

^$%&*^*^^$%^#$% I CAN"T TAKE THIS ANYMORE. so i was playing and decide to stop cuz my msn messger was on. so i turned it off and went back in...then....BAMM it freezes AGAIN. Man i'm sooooooooo pissed. i try to make it work and nothing works. So i uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it work for the first time. The i would leave the server and go back in later...then...BAMM it freezes. Am i the ONLY one that has this problem? if so, i am soooooo unlucky. well and suggestions? -sigh-

After many endless hours trying to make steam work......I did it. It finally works, turns out that since i shared a cd key i wouldn't work. If 2 or the same cd keys a registered in steam the one who registeres it second will not work. So my friend gave me a cd that he had and hasen't been registered in steam. And it worked yay me sooooooooooo happy. Thanks to all who gave me advice in how to fix this problem

Well my driver vesion i think is 7.84. i never updated it since i bought it. Should i dload the new 3.8 catalytst, but as [TA]-Macgyver said that theres problems with that so i won't dlaod it. Also will it matter if i share a cd key with my friend? because i got a e-mail for steam that said i wouldn't be able to play the half life platnium pack because of my cd key and i would need a un used cd key? do u think that might also be a problem?
