My Internet went down last night, so I was unable to tell you that we finally found the problem that was causing some of the lag on our COD4 servers. Next time you play, you will notice it's runs much better now. The problem was some incorrect PB settings, and as I said, it's all been fixed. :klinked:

I set my system up in a duel boot configuration, and I play my games in the Windows XP partition. As written in another article, XP is twice as fast as Vista. I noticed a significant gain in FPS (smoothness) when gaming in XP.

After great anguish, we are now sending log file information cod4tracker.com/ for both of our COD4 servers. I agree, we need to change it. If it will stop the whining about the Hardcore server, it would be worth it.

I think thats great! I can't wait until they are more affordable to the common slug like me, beause I will get one. They didn't mention how much the fuel would cost, or did I miss that?

The ARMORY Hardcore Mixed server would not restart today. A trouble ticket has been submitted to our host.

The COD4 servers were updated with the 1.2 server patch, and the mapcycle was finalized (very nice by the way ). We should have some fun gaming today/tonight. Sorry for the temporary outage. Gator

Well, after reviewing the poll I made about Death Match choice, it appears that most players want it. Access to our server configuration files is down, but when I have access, I will add the new "war" mode file as shown in my top post (edited). Now, lets see if we can get some player participation. For the minority, like myself, just suck it up and press on... :thumbsdown:

Just like it says ...Should we add Deathmatch maps in the mapcycle?

We tried a few TDM maps a couple of days ago, but they seemed real boring with no true objective to go after. The few players we did have wanted to camp up, and wait for the other team to move so they could shoot them. I guess we could add a few of them scattered here and there, and set time limit to keep it interesting. :thumbsdown: We could take a quick a poll and see what everyone wants to do. Does anyone else have thought on the issue?

If you lose your Armory favorites (they don't display), simply go to "Add Favorite", and when prompted for IP, leave prompt blank and click enter. This will force the favorites to reappear. :klinked:

Update... I have allowed Armory Staff to display external images, so lets see how that goes. P.S. That is one big ugly sig though.
