I dont know Mac it is not even close to me. What made FA to me was being able to pick everything from kevlar to each weapon...then based on skill upgrades you could do other stuff. That is what made FA to me...I know it sounds crazy since I was one of the big anti-FA people. If they had the graphics like posted in that pic I would still be playing.

Why would we use the mouse left handed? I just shift my keyboard about 2-3 inches to the left. It makes everything line up great. I use my mouse with my right hand. I could use it the otherway I guess...I just havent ever tried it. I shoot right handed but write with my left hand. I am pretty good with either.

That is why we are usually some of the highest ranked players... :peace: We think about the most effective way of doing things. Like Mac said there is less chance on me hitting the wrong key. I can be sprinting to cover after killing you and two others all while reloading. Can you sprint while strafing and reloading at the same time without hitting the wrong key or looking down? I can...very easily. I used to use those keys and the more I learned about gaming the better I started using the arrow keys. Then when I started putting stuff on my mouse my kills went up even more.

I am debating going to get it or downloading. I like the STEAM system but mostly because you can back it up on a DVD. This was a big sticking point to me on HL2. I am interested to see if BF2 will support this also.

Gator their is an admin mod thing or something that everyone one is talking about where when you shoot someone it tells you how far away you were and stuff like that. Can that be put on if it is not to much trouble?

I begged for Metal Gear and I thought a game couldnt get any better than that! I finally beat game and would play it over and over. I would have got the new versions if they had been First person. I cant imagine playing those games now but back then they were mind blowing graphics wise. It only makes you wonder what is to come... Metal Gear I think was around 1988 which is coming up on 20 years! WOW just WOW. I didnt even list my Atari 2600 stuff like Beazerker and several others I cant even remember their names. It was like 82-83 I guess...cant remember for sure. Before that I had some games for the Apple PC complete with 5 1/2 fly floppy to boot the computer.

God help you if you fall into my G3 sights as several of you may can verify. The G36 is also a very good weapon. I unlocked the DAO12 and they only time I find it helpful is during the first 2 points of Karkand after that just toss it.

I think changing the region is firmware based on the DVD drive and after so many changes can not be set back. No matter how cheap they are it is just easier to burn it with dvdshrink and make it region free and play that copy. Mac are you sure a firmware wipe would work to reset the number of region changes you have again? I didnt think that would work but I have never tried it so I cant say for sure. As far as buying DVD roms cheap Mac is right, they are around $20 but if you put another few dollars with it you can have a really nice burner. This is the one I have and it runs around $45 and will burn almost every format out there to include being a CD burner. If you sale them then yes it is illegal. If you have a backup copy of something you legally own you may still be commiting a civil violation (not criminal) meaning they would have to file a civil law suit which does not involve law enforcement. If you were to copy something then sale it then you could be charged under criminal statues in Federal and most state courts. So when somone says illegal that is not always what you think of as criminal. BTW there is still a very gray area as to if backing up your own stuff is a violation of the civil rules of law. The MPAA would argue that you have to break the encryption which would be a violation of the civil section. The other side would argue fair use just as was argued during the early BetaMax and VCR days. It boils down to the MPAA wants you to pay for a movie over and over again even though you have gotten it legally already. If you have a backup then you will not need to rebuy from them. Thats my two cents on the issue anyway.

Dont worry sneaky I worked the game this weekend and sent Gator messages to his cell phone from mine. :cool: I hate that for Prothro...he is from my old home town. He grew up not far from my house. Even though I was pulling for Alabama in this game I am still a big Auburn fan! Sneaky you better be glad you dont live any closer to T-town than you do. I sit in traffic on 20/59 for hours. What took me only 2.5 hours to drive down there on Friday took me nearly 4 to get home and I had blue lights.. I got in the convoy of the Gators going back and followed them until they clear 459 in Birmingham..I think one of the troopers said they were going to stay in Atlanta over night. Not sure if you remember tod bates, he just went pro from Alabama, he also grew up close to the house. He has a GREAT family, his father is the nicest guy you will ever meet.
