hmmm I pwnded it up from the start Actually it takes getting used to after playing the HL based stuff. Make sure you take cover and think tactical/real world type stuff. Do not move through open area no more than you have to...move along walls and buildings so you dont stick out with a big kill me sign when you are in the open ground.

Klif that is pretty much how it works. There is a timer that pops up when you die and say you get killed by a stray pistol round it may only take you 5 Seconds before you respawn at the point you picked, but if you get shot with say a tank round it may be 12 seconds on the timer. If at anytime during that time before it hits zero a medic comes by and shocks you back to life you jump up and go at it again. After about 2 revives it usually will not let you be jolted back again or if you get hit directly with ARTY or something like that you sometime will not be able to be revived.

We are good....Lost power like for 1 hour when it come through our section of the state. We live in almost the most northern part of AL so not to bad here. I actually did not have to go Mobile this time. They sent some of the people that didnt go for the last hurricane to give us a break I guess. I have been told to keep bag packed in case I have to relieve the guys down there and there is a chance I could go to New Orleans. As for NO, I have a friends who has a sister down there. She is a medic and said things are worse than they are telling on TV. They are shooting at everything that moves down there and they had to be rescued from a building after running from their ambulance being shot at. She also said there was an ambulance crew missing and feared dead but that is not being told right now.

I feel like as along as people arent getting someone off reviving him then killing him again then it is not "stat padding". If I shoot you with a pistol knife or whatever one on one then I should get credit for that as long as you are not letting me do so. I went in one of those servers a few weeks ago and I come out with about the same number of points as I would in a regular server. Now considering that why is it padding? Pistols and knife combat has been allowed in alot of games before and a lot of people enjoy. I am not crazy about it but to each is own. I just do not see anything to justify it being called "stat padding" never the less I would highly recommend nobody go in these servers as you may get your rank reset.

Well, we usually go to HQ first in Montgomery then they set us up in teams and send us to other parts of the state depending on where we are needed. They try not to get to many of us there at one time. All the past hurricanes I have had to go...I am hoping I get skipped over this time.

I like the Dimage Z3 (what I have..) It used to be around 400 but is down to the 200-250 range now. It is a 4.2 with 12x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. This one has a image stabalizer where the older Z1 and Z2 models did not. You may not need that unless you are going to shoot low light/long range stuff. I shot some pictures from 1/2 mile up in a chopper and they look pretty good. Most of the time those higher end cameras like your and mine take at very large format say 2272x1704 so you would first want to go to a photo editing tool like photoshop or any that let you resize. Now change the size to say 800x600 or something along those lines which will give you a big reduction in size with out losing a lot of resolution. IF your picture is to big (MB wise) then just save as a jpg with a higher compression until you get it to a size/quality ratio you can live with. Just keep in mind you can make the file size very small with compression but then it starts getting very blurry from being compressed. BTW use the GIMP program Klif mentioned it is free and pretty good...if you do not have photoshop cs

Well I was born in June 1977 so do the math on the original questions. I think I was being changed during the time Elvis died. As far as 9/11 I was transporting a prisoner I had arrested on warrants. Ironically he was also someone I had graduated school with and we listened to the radio the whole way back to the station. After booking him in I watched TV for a bit in the lounge at the PD and saw the 2nd plane hit live on TV.

I edited out the part where it was just shooting at the floor for like a minute. I was going to just take still photos but didnt realize the movie feature was one and when I clicked one time it started the video rather than just making one picture. Then when I clicked again to take another picture it turned off...lol

I was going to do a video spoofing the guys wrenching the black hawk in bf2 but I couldnt find a wrench. Actually we didnt know the camera was switched on and I was screwing around. I have to respectfully disagree with the FA future being alive and well. Most of our members are playing BF2. There are only a handful of FA players left in the world. This morning just before I posted this there were 51 people playing TOTAL. That to me is not a thriving community by any stretch.

It is just to show what can be hidden on people with baggy clothes. He wouldnt be running much like that. Most of the people who hide guns in those baggy pants usually only have 1 or 2 guns and maybe a knife. You should see them trying to run from you in those things...its great!

I will have check when ever I get to play again, but I think the last time I checked it was around 99 with everything on high @ 1024x768 (also I think I had AA on). My rig AMD64 3700+ (San Diego Core) 1MB cache 1024 Corsair C2 ram Nvidia 6800GT (256MB) 21 inch monitor.
