  8. I banned him for repeated language vilolations. He must have been kicked 6 times in one map which would be like 18 languuage infractions. I warned him verbally and through text as well as the autogenerated warning for each infraction.. I finally had enough and banned him.

Hi and welcome to our forums. Thanks for all the info. Join in our ventrilo channel. I am sure there are many ideas we can share to help our clans out.
  10. Nice choice. At least you went current generation of technology. You will be much happier in the long run.
  11. Yes DOC a projector is an inexpensive way to get a great pic but you need a screen and place to put the projector. The cooling fan is a bother, at least the ones I looked at. This may be a great benifit for some people though that have the room for this idea.
  12. Oh yeah. buy LOCAL in case you have a problem. I am just using these site for PHOTO reference.
  13. I would go this route. The Type of tv that I got. It is a rear projection LCD. Sony and Hitachi are the best right now. Sony had. I repeat. Had problems with their bulbs but that got corrected. http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Sony-42--Grand-WEGA--HDTV--KDF-42WE655-/sem/rpsm/oid/100655/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do http://www.onecall.com/PID_20059.htm
  14. Basically the same thing but slightly different ways about getting the picture to the screen. DLP and LCD(projection) use a bulb to get the light out of the LCD's so to speak. Either one imho will do great once you get it home and have nothing to compare them to. In order to use HDTV you will need a built in tuner or external. An outdoor antennae to recieve the signals from local channels. the Cable TV converter box for HDTV or if you have Satalite. Then you will need a new reciever to recieve the HD signals plus pay the extra fee to get the HD programming. it will cost you more money a month to enjoy the better picture. is it worth it? Do you like Football? Do you really like CLEAR Crisp Football. Then it is worth every penny.
  15. Here is what I bought a few months ago. http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Hitachi-UltraVision-50--HDTV-Monitor--50V500-/sem/rpsm/oid/77488/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do
  16. LCD is Very good for the money. At that size you want, 42' to 52", they use a bulb to project the light. The bulb is good for like 5 years or more in most sets. Cost is around $200 to replace as of now. User replacement friendly btw. A Plasma is not replacable if it goes bad. I would get a Sony 42" LCD set with HDTV built in. If you can afford it. Otherwise a good HDTV Projection Screen is an option. They are bigger and give you the WOW factor in screen size especially if you ahve the surround system to back the image up. I would NOT get a TUBE HDTV as it is OLD technology so to speak. Do yourself a favor and save the extra and get an LCD or a DLP set at least 42" diag screen size. They are almost as good as a Plasma but all you do is replace the bulb and the set is like new.
  17. Let me know how Chronicles of Riddick is. I have heard it is good.

  23. They may be BF1942 but they apply to most games. We were looking at them and laughing so hard at some of them. Guess you had to be there.
