I HAVE DOOM 3. I installed the game. I can run it on 1280 x 1024 in ultra mode. No problems so far... But... During gaming i see sometimes some white points on the screen. I have read on some forums that that could be the case with some ati cards (especially the 9800 XT, that i have). Is the beta Catalyst Drivers from ati (4.9 ?) the solution ? I have some problems with the official ones from Ati, i dont wanna install the beta driver, im afraid that other problems are following. Some of you, have a solution or a hint for me ?By the way, the game looks absolutely great. Its dark, the speakers are on, nobody else at home, you sit in your room, you sit before your monitor, you start doom3...... Oh my god, finally, its done.... I AM PLAYING DOOM 3....

I am not sure about cd.. Are the TAC People recommend to run it or not ? I usually dont run it anymore, because its not needed by the server.

Hm, looks good. Preloading phase for internet cafes already begun (for some parts in the world). Preloading phase for CS Condition Zero Users and People with Ati Coupons/Vouchers, will begin on the 16th of august. You can't play the game then, its only loading some parts of the game.I think you can game the beta some days later. But the dates could change, you all know, that happened in the past.

Sniff, sniff... I think i am the only one you hasnt the game yet. The game is available now in Switzerland (11th of August) and i will have it tomorrow. I think it will keep me away sometime from playing fa. But i think nobody will miss me.. Sniff.. Sniff..

I loved and watched the F1 for years. I traveled to some events in europe, but the last time its a little bit boring, because we all know who is the record holder in almost every F1 categorie and who is winning all the races. Its not so much fun anymore.

I have very high pings on this server. As an european i get a ping around 120. And thats absolut great. I hope i will see some in the server this weekend, then i havent seen so far people on it, at my playing times. It woud be a honor to get some skills, when i kill sgossard (i know i kill him once and he will kill me 20 times).

I think the release date in the usa is the 3th. I heard that the game is available at some stores right now. The first ingame movies are already released today. The game is also in two different versions available on some peer to peer networks. Even BBC (English TV) has aired that. In Europe the official release of the UK Version is around the 10th of August. I have ordered it and i hope it will be comming soon.

The Doom3 official trailer was released. Look at it. The ingame sequences look great. The game will be out in the comming days. The trailer is available at www.fileplanet.com.

I use the catalyst drivers, at the moment no. 4.7. Sometimes i start the system and i see nothing on the screen, i make a reboot, all works fine then. Sometimes i run the system, system starts, then i see two big lines from above the screen to the ground. I make a restart, all is fine. Sometimes i install something, then i dont see the icon, but i see the name of the icon. Strange, isnt it ?

Its the same thing forever: Ati vs Nvidia. Who wins ? Who looses ? I say only something, if you wanna buy a new videocard, dont buy ati. I have more problems with my ati 9800 xt, than i had with my several video cards, with an nvidia chip, in the past years. For years my GF 4 TI 4600 was great to run all games. Its one of the greatest mistakes i made to change to ati. The problem with ati isnt the card, it is the driver you use. I never had problems with the drivers for nvidia, even the not official ones.

Without Steam we couldnt play fa anymore. Sometimes i love it and sometimes i hate it. But most of the time it runs well and thats the bottom line. How will it run when HL 2 is comming out ? I think there will be big updates following the release of the Multiplayer part. I think its called Counterstrike Source. I am not sure about that.
