Farcry isnt running? I think your specs should be enough. Which graphics settings you made ? If you wanna upgrade you should upgrade your memory to minimum 1 GB Ram. That is enough for all games. The Ati 9600 Xt and 9800 pro are good mid range cards, but you must look at there specs, there are cards with 128 mb and 256 mb ram. With Nvidia Chip its the fx 5700 in your price range, but i wouldnt buy this one. There will be new cards shown in the next few days, by nvidia and ati. When they are available, the prices will come down. Then you can buy an fx5950 or ati 9800 xt for this price. But the problem is: you have to wait.

For cheats you must download a little file, you must copy devmode.lua into your farcry directory (there is comming an .txt file with the cheat file, that explain everything). Farcry must be startet with -DEVMODE after the .exe in the shortcut. Then it works. Without cheats, some levels are too hard to handle. I think i downloaded the cheat from www.cheatz.de, but you will find it surely on every cheat page available.

I have played the game through now. The end level is cool and hard to make (without cheats) but the end itself is a disappointment. It had be done better. For such a geat game, its a shame..

Playstation 2 ?? I have one, but when i look at the graphics, i could cry. I wait for the game, to come out on pc. Years ago, i played resident evil nemesis on the psone. At this time i liked it very much. But today, with all the graphics and sound possibilitys of an pc, i never, ever, buy a game for ps 2. I wait and i buy the games on pc. I hope this game, will come out an pc. The movies and pics, even ps2, looks good.

I prefer coke. I drink pepsi too, but then only when its very cold. All the special stuffthat they make, i only drink when nothing other is available. Pepsi makes better commercials, coke has better music in their commercials. The greatest joke are all the other clones, like Virgin Cola or so. Nothing tastes like the originals...

Great pics statecop. Altough im a swiss, i must say that we all should be thankful for that what the cops doing for us all day. Everytime i see the cops with the red light on the car roof, i think, god dam, where they going now, which challenge they gonna face ? Then i drive to my office and lay there for the rest of the day..... I have also no problems with traffic controls. When someone breaks the law, its his fault and he has too live with the consequences. When i am driving too fast and i get a ticket, its my fault. No excuses.. I have absolutey respect for this men and women, who make overall such a good job. Last year i was three times in the states. In this hard times, its normal that you see a lot of cops. But for my has a tourist, it makes me feel safer, that some cops are around. In San Franzisco or Las Vegas i never felt uncomfortable. I drived a lot through the states, i think all is safer and better now, than back in 1991, when i was first in the States. Go on Statecop and make this world safer. Thank you and your friends...

I deinstalled the old ati drivers first. I had to deinstall the Ati Drivers and Control Panel and there was also a ati deinstallation program to deinstall. Beside the fact, that there were three *.dll errors during deinstallation, all worked perfect. The new driver installation was no problem. But i think the best way would be, that all should be made automatically, first the deinstallation (if necessary, some say no, some say yes) and second the installation of the new drivers and other software (control panel). Hopefully in the future....

Since a few weeks i have an ati 9800 xt. Before that i was a nvidia fan.. Now there is a new driver relase. Before installing a new ati driver, must i deinstall everytime the old one ? The ati release notes says so, but is it really the way it goes. With Nvidia drivers i never done that.

Seems to me that all good players join your clan. But thats a good motivation for me. I like to fight against the armory guys and girls. HEHHEHE

We have a strange problem. We set up a FA Server. The Server runs fine. All members can join but after a few minutes (sometimes 5, sometims 15 minutes or longer) all Players outside my Network are Timed Out by the Server. The Server is still on. Steam works perfectly and i can jump around the map as usual (or i sit above the sewer). But my friends tell me, that the port has changed. What could it be ? The Router settings seems to be correct. The NIS Security Settings are ok.. The server looks good and stable, but what causes the port change problem ? Any ideas and i would be thankful..

I have played for sometime now and i wanna give my reaction to the game: sometimes the KI of the Enemy isnt very clever: they shoot against their friends.... HAHAHHAH.--- Its great to snipe one down and the others ran around like crazy... The graphics outside the buildings looks great, inside its ok, but not phenomenal. If you set all details to high, you need an absolute highend system. On 1600 x 1200, 32 Bit, all details on, full Antialiasing, it could happen, that the game is very slow.. The sound is good. With Dolby Digital 5.1 on, its very cool. The monsters arent so well animated like the men. I a little disappointed from the inside story movies , i have seen better in the past. But overall i can say until now: Buy the game, its worth its money. I think next weekend i will have the game played once through, then i can tell you about the time needed to too that.. Hasta la vista..

When i install the dedicated server steam file, i can only run halflife, but no firearms. And isnt the Create Game Menu in FA not only for Lan Games ? I think so, but i need to make a server with fa, to play through internet. Still looking for help. Thanks..

Ok, when i look a google, the results are too much. I wanna set up a dedicated server with fa, that the team i am in, can practice.. Then we need practice to make a match against ta. Havent you a quick quide for installing such a server ? I have downloaded the steam file, but is it complicated to implement the fa mod ? Thanks in advance..
