I would like to play DC on your server, but everytime i look whos playing: nobody there or server down (like right now). When is the best time to join ( I live in europe) ?

I think the 64Bit version of XP runs only with AMD64 CPUs at the moment and not with intel 64bit cpu's (server cpu's). But Intel has officially announced, that they will bring a 64 Bit CPU like AMD, because they have the license from AMD. Microsoft has said, that they will only make one 64Bit Version of XP (thats good). There are some probs with the 64 Bit drivers, i heard ? Arent the boards at the moment a little bit rare and cost a lot of money ? Also you need registered ram (hard to get)...

I have had some little problems with my ati 9800xt and Catalyst drivers. After installing the card and installing the new drivers, i saw somewhat like snow (the screen looked very stange) on my monitor. After restarting the pc, all worked fine. With Catalyst 4.4 i had the same problem and the same solution (rebooting pc) I have never had such problems with nvidia cards. I dont know if the catalyst drivers are good, because i have no experience with other drivers for ati. Some say, the driver from the manufacturer is the better for the card, some say no.

After five months of playing i reached a rank around 25 and now all is starting over ? Very nice. Ok, lets game a little bit more then.

This one of the things that makes this website number one. Thanks to all the people which are in charge of this site. You are doing a great work. Its always a pleasure to play on your servers. I thinking hard about to join your clan, not only why your site is great, especially that some of your members make a great job, watching the games and look for law and order. Also the comments and respect that you have given to Skynet impresses me very much. At least i say, keep going with this great work.

Thanks for the answer mcgyver. I only played 2.8. and i have no experience in installing a newer fa version. After saving the files, must i deinstall or delete the old fa, before installing the new one ?

Will there be a quick installation guide for the Windows Version of FA 2.9. ? I have often problems to keep my settings when i reinstall FA (sometimes i am a dummie). Thanks in advance..

Hope i can soon game with you again Doc. Welcome back... I have downloaded a lot of stuff of the E3, but im a little bit disappointed.. The new HL2 Movie isnt really a big thing and the Doom3 Video hasnt made me jumping. I have seen such graphics on FarCry.. Whats about Stalker ? The game looks impressive and i think it could be a big hit...

The coupons doesnt expire, i checked that. And i forgot thats its possible to download the game, but you have also send some things, to get the download. For me, i like to have always the original cd, including the package. By the way WSAENOTSOCK: Its a modern world, yes. Its FREE SPEECH too (well, in some countries) and sometimes complaining is ok (not all the time). And yes, i will buy the game immediately, when its in the stores.

A few weeks ago i bought an ati 9800 xt (asus). If you buy an ati card there is a coupon in the package, that allows you to get Halflife 2 for free, when its out sometimes in the future (and we all know, future can be a long time). Now i wanted to preorder HL2. Beside the fact that you have to sent many papers (receipts and things from the card package), i saw yesterday, that it could be, that you have to wait 4 until 6 weeks (after the game is out) before the game is delivered. Sorry Ati, when a new game is out and especiallay a game like Halflife 2, its not very nice to wait so long. Meanwhile all friends have played the game trough. And i have to wait ? Next time, i will think a little bit longer about such a "free coupon" thing. And when i look at the new Nvidia Card, i think the decision will be a little different, which card i will buy. It doesnt matter, if ati has perhaps a faster card. Ati, thats not the way to keep customers.

I think the price is not yet known, but i think the card will be in the same range, as the price for the 5950 ultra, when it was comming out. Some USD 500 - 600 ??

Dont forget: Ati is coming with new cards too. But i think nvidia will catch and keep the throne with the 6800 ultra. My ati 9800 xt is working perfect and i only will change, when some groovy games doesnt running properly.
