Looking for a sig for Jackeh Obviously my name, a battlefield 2142-type theme, and maybe a cyclone/tornado thing. Any takers?

Look up two players named TimSad or Crazy88s. Get in a server with them. I learned from Phrogg mostly and these two are the most insane knifers I've ever seen. Somehow TimSad manages to fly through the air at his targets and he seemed to hit the ground so fast he may as well have been hitting it on his feet. Crazy88s is another one, but he fights mostly on the ground but he's so very fast it's almost impossible to hit him. Impact and Joe are also some of the best around as well. I've just seen no one better than those two I mentioned. And yes, I would say they're better than Phrogg as well. No offense good buddy :thumbsup:

I saw it the other day; the movie is incredible. Absolutely amazing. Those critics don't know what they're talking about. Most of them basically say that the movie was messed with too much visually; that if they would have left the scenery unaltered instead of enhancing them with CG, it would have been one of the best war movies of all time. Well, I disagree. It IS one of the best war movies of all time. The scenery was visually stunning. The cinematography techniques wouldn't have been as effective against the contrasting background. Some others claimed it was too graphic. Heh, you went to see a movie with men killing each other with swords and spears. What part of that isn't violent? And movies like the Saw series are MUCH more graphic than 300 is by far. The critics are wrong. Go see it.

People complain about the "20 foot knife." It's possible to knife someone from that far away but it doesn't always happen. As well as when you come up to someone and shank them from 2 inches away; it's never a guarantee with this game. It's not a hack, it's just how the game works. Althogh it'd be cool if after your first 1,000 knives they handed you a machete, but hey, can't have everything you want...

I formatted my computer today and when I went to reinstall 2142, it said my cd key was invalid. I wrote it in permenant marker on the dvd itself and it worked the last time I installed it, so I have no idea what's going on. This sucks. /rant.

Mmm... that's her. And she is a beauty, I tell you what. I've never had a single problem with it. The only thing that could be better is the viewing angle, but since I'm the one sitting at it there's no problem. There is no ghosting in game. But, those Asus monitors sure are pretty... You should be fine with 700:1; I'm just a fan of really sharp colors. Chances are you're not going to notice a huge difference going from what you have to what you'll get. I know I could notice the difference between my last monitor (A Sceptre X9 with 700:1) vs. Phrogg's 2000:1. I can still notice subtle differences between my 1200:1 to his 2000:1. But, like you said, it's what won't ghost and won't leave you high and dry in a knife fight with an amphibian.
