Yes, now saying all 309 passengers and crew survived. Some seriously injured though, not believed to be life threatening. And this is what the news story says: "An Air France passenger jet attempting to land at Toronto's Pearson International Airport overran a runway by 200 meters Tuesday, bursting into flames and sending smoke billowing into the sky." Nothing about it running off the side?? TFD

What I'm reading says that it overran the runway and burst into flames after it stopped. No official word on survivors yet.. TFD
  3. It's on the main page, but here.. 70.84.183.10: 16567 Also, uncheck "ranked" from your filter, and search for The Armory. TFD
  4. yes.. TFD
  5. They saw the cause of the problems the last time, although didn't have a clear picture, they didn't think it was a flight risk, and really had no other alternative than a reentry. No means of a rescue, a limited supply of fuel and food, and no ability to either make it to the space station (fuel), or dock with it (only shuttle not equipped with a docking collar) if they could have made it. TFD
  6. Yes, taking supplies, a replacement gyro something , and cargo storage platform to the international space station, and to test out numerous new on orbit shuttle self inspection and repair techniques. And on the Columbia mission, your statement is very incorrect. There were numerous scientific projects and test they did, and if I'm not mistaken, I believe they either serviced, or deployed a satallite as well. TFD

Global hour = 1 hour... TFD
  8. Discovery lifted off on time, and problem free. Everything went perfectly and she is on orbit, and preparing for the 2 day journey to the International Space Station. Total mission time, 12 days. Watched the live feed, from Nasa, online, and it was great, and somewhat emotional... God speed, and a safe return. TFD
  9. Probably resetting. They said that you will not loose your ranks or unlocks, but you may have to reselect your unlocks if you just recently got some. TFD

Yep, someone hacked EA. Verified by an EA rep on the TotalBF2 website.. TFD

My guess is this is an EA master server issue. TFD

Well, I noticed ealier that all the rank sigs, and stat websites seemed to be down, so I have a feeling they may be related. The sigs appear to be back, so check now, and see if things are back to normal? TFD
  13. TFD2001 replied to DEFCON's topic in Gaming
You have them on any server, or just the one you logged in on? If only on that server, then it's the server thats hacked, and likely won't be around long.. TFD
  14. Well, I was gonna post this earlier, but didn't, and now, Gator has a meeting scheduled, which could potentially help this plan. I suggest all that are around for later this evening, jump in the TAC server for some BF2 fraggin'. Let's get this server populated and enjoy it for once. The SC and donators provide this server for us to use, so lets use it! For those worried about not being able to have their ubar weapons they "earned", you can use them in non-ranked servers, and your ranks follow you as well! You just won't get any further advancement (big deal right? at least for a night...). Lets see if we can get this thing populated, and maybe keep it that way for at least the remainder of the weekend! Look for me and others on Xfire (after I get back from a family gathering and...) after the meeting! Everyones welcome! Lets fill it up! TFD
  15. My son's login was having same issue, him running 800x600 in game when rest of system is set at higher, the game wouldn't fill the screen. Got a suggestion from the Forums at TotalBF2 that said to make sure you select the 8x6 with the highest refresh rate available, bingo, the monitor automatically adjusts now to fill the screen. Something to try? TFD

My guess would be that...? :peace: TFD
  17. :peace: LMAO! That was great Jiga... Sorry BTD, couldn't help. TFD
  18. Yea, as I said, I just installed, and threw that together in about 5 min. So, some learning to do on the settings and what not.. TFD
  19. Thats a pretty cool program. Playin' with it a bit myself. Whipped this up pretty quickly. Needs a little work on my end. It's Pretty impressive what this thing is capable of doing, considering the footprint it has on your system.. TFD /monthly_06_2011/post-646-130810174522_thumb.jpg
  20. Stock Car Racing... Does the Firefighter Challenge count... (kind of an olympics for Firefighters based around firefighting skills...) TFD
  21. Pointless post, and just trying to cause trouble... See the other thread for reference as to why words or parts of words are filtered. If you seriously can't get along without saying the words, find a server that will let you. TFD
  22. TFD2001 replied to Macgyver's topic in Gaming
Yes you can, but I believe you have to have the .50 unlocked sniper rifle to do it through the glass... TFD
  23. TFD2001 replied to Macgyver's topic in Gaming
Actually, they may not do alot to the chopper (they do some), but you can still be killed inside the chopper by small arms fire.. Been on both sides of that... Have killed, and been killed as the mini-gunner, and passenger... Have seen the pilot shot twice, maybe more by .50 cal sniper. Once was on the bad end of that deal, waited just a bit to long to realize the pilot was no longer with us, we were at altitude, and some sniper got off a good shot, and down we went, at first I just thought, man, this guy sucks at flying, why'd I jump in here with him.. lol ... TFD
  24. Look around this weekend, especially Friday and Saturday night, it's likely to have some activity then. TFD
