no sir uninstall reinstall w/o patch same settings cant even join server. uninstall reinstall + patch same settings plays for 10 minutes locks up disterbing. Kinda pissed i spent 53 bucks.

patched. then ea suggested you unistall it because of memory leaks.

Ok, so BF2 hates me and locks up every single i join a server. I had it working for a about a week on the 1.01 patch with out too many lockups. In order for it to work I had to: - turn off all other programs that may have been running including my avast anti-virus (made me feel uneasy playing). - change the connection speed from T1 to 256k or better - empty out my temp folder - empty out my doc/settings folder - turn off the voice enable options in the audio section. - set effects to low - turn off anti-aliasing - turn off dynamic lighting - turn off dynamic shadowing I have a amd 3200+ on a nvidia nforce4/ultra mb 1.0 gigs of kingston ram msi 6600 pci-e I normally get 90-150fps in css, but for some reason bf2 wont work for anything. I have searched the ea support pages and pretty much done what they suggested. (above). I was wondering if any of you computer genius's had any ideas for me? Computers ain meh specialty. Thanks,

i think it changed alread? ub61v2 is on it now dunno if it had been or w/e gwar is ok only map i dont like is oberland.

oh man that looked fun. <3 bf2 when your squad actually works together. still having major issues with bf2 tho. hopefully the next patch will allow me to play it without locking up.

I was kicked and banned 30 seconds ago for saying n1 fgt I could see why this could normally constitute a ban, but it just so happend that the guy that killed me was named fgt. He killed 6 in a row with the uzi. I was playing as socool, and had not said a word the entire match till then. Plz unban me. dunno meh id

cant u just switch it back and forth from a ranked to unranked server? If you could I would say rank it for now then u can unrank it later. I havent played there cuz I want to unlock weapons. Well, that and I cant ever find it either.

what are you running? cuz i have to make sure all my background systems are closed down. Then, I have to play on medium settings with voice overlay and dynamic lighting of, and low effects or my game will freeze. I'm running 3200+ with 1.0 gig of ram on a 6600gt pci-e wth?
