That is horrible writing anyways. This morning on CNN they were talking about gun control and the guy who wanted to keep gun laws how they are cited an incident that happened in Virginia a while back. Apparently another guy at a school pulled a gun and was shooting people, but two guys ran to their cars and got THEIR guns and stopped the killer before he could do much damage. That is a reason for keeping the guns around. People as messed up as Cho (the VT killer) are going to get guns one way or another, legal or not. and freefall, good idea, but I don't want that guy anywhere near my bum.

yeah apparently in Virginia all you have to do to buy a handgun is to be 21, provide 3 forms of ID and proof of a permanent U.S. adress, and have a background check.

I don't know about your state but where I live you have to get a permit for guns, and I do believe that they register you for the gun as well Impact. There is the permit and the registration But I see what you are saying, they aren't necessary in most places (though where I live, maybe they are. Some parts of Selma are not safe at all.) I don't think that guns should be banned. Maybe make them harder to get, I don't know. I let other people deal with that. As to video games being a problem: Maybe. Personally I find video games to be a HUGE vent for frustration and anger. I have been playing violent games for years and I don't want to kill anybody in real life. And just like Psyclone said. Video games are harmful to the mind if that is ALL someone does. I went to a youth leadership thing and government guy came to talk about violence in video games. He said that if you play games and do NOTHING whatsoever socially then part of your brain will stop working as well. But, say, if you play games and hang out with your friends or talk to your parents or even talk to people on Ventrilo or Teamspeak, then they are not harmful. Reading, doing schoolwork, playing sports, things like that also help balance things out. It was proven that the kids at Columbine did more or less nothing but play video games, and plus they were bullied I do believe (games were probably a reason for being bullied as well.) Guns are not the problem. Video Games are not the problem. People who do not balance their mind are the problem.

Yeah I really want to know what drove this guy to do such a thing. Oh wait I just turned on the TV and they are talking about it. Apparently the guy's girlfriend broke up with him or something and he was going to kill himself as a result and decided to hurt as many others as he could before he did so. Oh and look here comes the blame on video games.. regardless of his motive this is just sick stuff.

I think it must be something with the new PB update. I am almost positive that you can disable it because the other day I noticed it in my process window of task manager and exited it and PnkBstrB.exe and played BF2142 afterwards with no problems.

Really Miyamoto this kind of stuff happens really rarely and hell lets face it this could happen anywhere. The chances of it happening to you are very very very low. It is unfortunate when it does happen and is tragic and everyone will be scared for a while.

In case anyone here had not heard yet, there was a major shooting today at Virginia Tech. A gunman opened fire in the dorms and classrooms and killed 32 before killing himself or being shot by the police. It is probably the top story on all US news sources. well heck it doesn't look a whole lot like the old Iwo, but it sure as hell is beautiful! I looked at some of the other dev journals. The animator's one was interesting. Apparently they are now adding the woman from Grindhouse with the gun for a leg as an actual playable character with an uber gun

I have played little skirmishes with a few friends, but never anything major. I think that it would be more fun than paintball if everyone who used to play paintball at my school switched to airsoft and got good guns and such. I think that airsoft is more realistically oriented, opposed to paintball.

You have to start beating him up then, if you want him to be a true warrior.
