yup, I mostly play on #3 because I can get good steady fps there.

what servers do yall play on? I have always played on Frenchy's Pit servers cuz they have pretty good admins and try to keep people respectful. They also have rank working on Source and I know for old DoD they had Psychostats, theyll probly get em up for Source too.

Everyone! Rejoice in knowing that your fps beats mine in any game! I cant even play BF2 without a community fix (they had one for the demo at least, donno about a full game fix) but I can assure you that you have no need to worry about your fps. A game is playable with as little as 10-20 fps.....believe me, I play DOD:S with it on 32 player servers.

I have and always have liked iron sights. I think that they are fun to use, albeit a bit tough to use sometimes. But I used to play the UT2k4 mod Red Orchestra where there ARE no crosshairs, just ironsights to help you aim. I just like the realism I suppose.

Is there a way to get rid of choke? Is it just settings? Or is it because of my ti4200 video card? Anyways, I just know that in DOD:S My choke goes up to 15+ and my fps drops to 5-

Nice. I used to want one of those but with gas prices as they are I would much rather have my car. '95 Honda Accord, hunter green. I got a wool seat cover (it was my sisters old car) that I think I am gonna put back on there oh, and a girl in my grade got a 2005 Nissan Altima. She wrecked it last week (her fault. she was fine, she had a chemical burn on her right arm but it cleared up after a few days, but her car was destroyed). It has been less than a year since she started driving, maybe less than 6 months. Anyways, she is not only getting another car, but her parents are buying her a 2002 Volvo something that cost more than her Altima. Does anyone else see that as being spoiled? She didnt have to pay a thing on either car.

Well I would say IT ROCKS except my FPS never goes above 10 if I am around other people firing guns or if I fire a gun at someone.....sooo....donno

lowering your mouse sensitivity will fix the problem. It might be a good idea to set your mouse to a low sensitivty if you are a sniper. but if you are gonna be doing to close up fighting then higher sensitivity is good for reaction times. if you are gonna be using a sight and close up, find a happy medium

me and some of my friends are getting into casual airsoft....just with little crappy cheapo guns. It is pretty fun so far and is ok to just play casually because the ammo is soooooo inexpensive.....a few $$ for 2000 rnds at Walmart. and you can reuse the ammo. and you can shoot people indoors....thats always fun. we shot one of my friends over 100 hundred times and we didnt stop because he kept laughing and that made us laugh.....then he locked himself in the bathroom to hide. Why would he do that? I shot him in the elbow and he screamed. It was really funny. Then he tried to throw a whole roll of toilet paper at me but it hit the door and the whole thing fell into the toilet. good times, good times. OH and Jairyn.....how come yalls guns dont have the orange tips? I thought they had to, by law, have those? Is it ok for me to paint mine black or what?

I remember in the old BF 1942 me and some other guys launched a full scale paratrooper attack. We had 1 guy piloting a b52 and the wings are so huge on those things that we got about 15 people (about our whole team) on the wings. We flew over the enemy base, all jumped off, and pretty much mowed everything down. The B52 layed down some nice bombs too before we landed so vehicles werent such a problem. It was probably the coolest thing I ever did in BF1942.

OK I dont know what everyone else suggested because Im not going to read 50 posts right now. But heres the laydown on what I know First and foremost if you EVER EVER EVER buy a Brass Eagle gun (besides maybe a Tigershark) then the devil will eat your soul. Never buy Brass Eagle. OK. Tippmann - Sturdy and reliable. Virtually indestuctable. Tippmann 98: probably THE Most easily customized gun in the whole sport....and the most used. Tippmann Pro-Carbine: Aaah, my baby. The Pro-Carbine. Upgrades are much harder to find, but I got one because I dont like to blend in with the crowd and conform to everyone else when it comes to Paintball. Its got a good rifle feel, if you like that feel. Tippmann A-5: Ummmm dont get one unless you just LOOVE the way they look. All you are getting for the extra $100 is a cyclone feed thing which you dont need because you can just get an electro hopper for half that much....and you dont need one of those unless you have a response trigger (response triggers fire when you pull the trigger and when it goes back to the regular position I do believe). Umm....if I ever buy another gun I am getting a Phantom. They are pump guns and I have been in love with them for years. Probably the most accurate gun around. Plus I just love playing with pumps because it is a lot more of a challenge. Oh yeah ------------------------Upgrades!!! -------------------- The first thing you want to get in the way of upgrades is a new barrell. Doesnt matter what gun you get. New barrells are important. J&J Ceramic is probably the best budget barrell you can buy. Otherwise I donno. Stock: You dont need to buy a stock. Just buy a butt plate for your CO2 and save money, cuz if you get a stock you have to get a remote system, and remote systems have hoses that get caught on sticks and such. Annoying. Red Dot Sight/scope: Not unless you just want it for looks. Otherwise forget about it. Thats my 50 cents.
