Actually, WinXpPro has performed better then when I was using win98se with almost same system using older 1.3 cpu. LOL. It is possible, with 1 or more gbs ram, lots of free ram (memturbo used before strating game), few services running, good net speed and server speed. But as BF2 was for us, likely only in under 80-90 ping servers with only up to around 24 total players. Which is all I've found so far. Forget 64 player games. 32 maybe if good pings from all. I thankyou Mac very much. That's a very useful site and suggestion from you. I especially liked the system scan at their http://www.crucial.com which showed my mobo speed , ram type and speed, etc ... suggested more ram and faster available agp4x video card liek you said. But I am having trouble affording current debt load so have to do best with what I have for now.

I gave it 10 because it gave such good fps for such little pc. Same if not better then BF2 gives now. I hope that doesn't drop much like BF2 did with each subsequent patch. Also because of the Mech versatility in water and hills running endlessly. As well as great decoys if you wait hidden nearby for enemy approach. As well as the support gun zoom, cool.

For those with antique systems like mine, I got no lag so far in close servers like EA CANADA showing server ping 70 and my ping in game 70.

It works well with my P4-1.8mhz, 1gb pc133 sdram, 100mhz mobo bus, ATI 9600 XT 128mb 4x agp slot = 15-30 fps. No lag yet detected in EA CANADA severs of around 20 players with server ping 70 and my ping in game also 70. Happy with that. That Support soldier gun works best for me so far with high fire rate plus zoom. Those Walkers are awesome for me. Reminds me of where Kol Klink and I first learned to circle strafe. Mech Warrior game. It's cool they walk fast forever and go thru deep water which other's can not. I enjoyed parking one near an AA gun. I jumped out to man AA and shot down aircraft that was shooting my Walker. Should be enjoyable for anyone with as little as my system specs for atleast the change of scenery and activity.
