Sorry to hear that. Hmmm, possible intolerance to bottom fish like many have ? They high in certain minerals and bacteria if not well cleaned and cooked. Detoxify, lots of water to help liver. Salt, cinnamon, cheese, will increase natural bacteria finding body abilities. Best wishes, Hogan.

  4. I think I downloaded it long ago... If I figure out the old steam ID, I guess I could re-download it ? Is it important ? Do most servers restrict BF2 to Special Forces maps ? Sincerely, Hoooooogan ;-)
  5. Okay, I put in the full 1.5 client update. I see servers now. I see you in my "favorites" list still. But I don't seem to have "Special Forces". I used to. Looked for cd but likely gave that to the boys some time ago. What do I do ?

Yes, a "Hero" (love the Series), never gives up. "We will fight to the end, to the seed and the olive branch ..." Who said that long ago on early radio ?
  7. I fired up the dusty duct-taped baby today. It said there were updates. I had unused, in hard-drive, the previous 1.5 beta installer I got from here mths ago. So I ran it. Completed, but I SEE NO SERVERS FOR MULTIPLAYER ANYMORE. So I went to EA website, there was just the 1.41 update. Unsure if I was 1.4 or 1.41, I today, downlaoded and installed that over top the beta 1.5 which was tried hrs ago. I STILL SEE NO SERVERS. Do I have to download the new 1.5 update from somewhere ? It not show at EA/BF2/Downloads page like the 1.41 does.

My sympathy and understanding of similar losses at my end. When my Lady lost her long-time cat, who I played lots with and cuddled me when I was down, was dragging a ball and chain. Until I took her to Shelter for found or given up animals that are looked after by donations. They can't stay forever there, sadly. She made her choice and we were happy feeling that the missed cat would appreciate knowing we just saved the life of one. Sincerely, Cam
  9. Because, Michael took after his Mother, who WAS A JEHOVAH'S WITNESS ... Their Father was not but pushed them HARD AS HE KNEW HE HAD TO, TO BRING THE FAMILY'S MUSICAL TALENTS TO AS MUCH FRUITION AS POSSIBLE ... It lead to problems amongst them as you could imagine ... SO ... Michael sided with his Mother but continued to spread "THE WORD", which is The Bible, New Testamanent, Jesus's WORD, THE WORD ... He obviously continued this through his many givings to the world starvation efforts ... he continued it to making his own tiny "DISNEY LAND" for troubled children ... Where in hindsight I think he chose wrong, was going with the flow of the times for media sales, being the "dirty dancing style" that was very popular at that time. Also, I believe he meant no disconduvt with the overnight sleepovers with distraught children, that he sympathized with as he went thru it due to the tough Father arguing with Mother and the "ALL MIGHTY DOLLAR"... He was a victim of giving too much, gettting too close, like complaints to Jesus for letting a commoner woman wash his feet ... HE WAS APPALLED AND CHASTIZED HIS FOLLOWERS ... Love all equally ... Sincerely, I've always felt this way since teen yrs ... Had a feeling about it with some people, I can sort of tell, from their SMILE, not so much what is said but "the look", sincere or fake ... Love to all, Sincerely, Cam :-)

Tanks. I dunno what to say. I'll get back when I think of it. lol. JK.
  14. Awesome arial to ground view.
  15. I got it working online thru steam, after updating to 3.0 FA1. Found few servers open to public. Got tired and late and had to crash. I'll be looking back at this soon. Have other business now to do first like tax filing thru net. See ya soon, Hogan.
  16. Oops, I GOT 2.9 ... I'll look for upgrade of 2.9>3.0 I guess... ?
  17. Okay all. I challenge you to remember the easy fast action of FA1 maps. Not mentioning FA2 here as it seems a taboo subject. We were rulers so to speak for a while of the game. Just because it's old, like Tetris, Space Invaders, Pong, etc, ... should not mean in my opinion, it's not worth retrying once in a while. We have offer to play in match leaque... Lets appreciate that. I've yet to figure out how to find any FA1 server... I can create my own ... that's about it ... Sincerely open to helpfull comments, Hogan ;-)
  18. I have new pc here, paid $10 thru steam as had no choice after trying many of older cd key numbers for Half-Life1 which Firearms 1 up to 2.9 uses ... Now I'm trying to find way for Firearms original version 2.9, to find servers on net ... nothing ... it seems to allow me to create my own or search for specific server ip ... I'm interested in playing it again with others. Just hard to find way to connect. Any ideas ? Sincerely, Hogan.
  19. Your thread is closed at your FA Site. I presume so is the offer ? OOps, just noticed the thread at your site is last posted may 2008. I'm confused, like Shultz, lol ;-)
  20. Close vote. Okay, my opinion for consideration is ... We've been through older senarios, so maybe the Bad Company 2 is safer bet then 1943 Pacific which we've seen in earlier BF2. I vote for BF2 Bad.
  21. As to Pacific maps, I don't care for that older BF2 carrier map that does not alllow commander arty.
  22. I feel I should compliment Gator and most of you, in thinking BF2 series is the one to hang on to. I will always be best fan of Firearms that we used to do. BF2 seems close to that experience to me, with the added challenge of commander to help team see enemies, drop supplies, drop vehicles, etc ... So I totally support the BF2 thinking but would like to see a server that charges by use ontop of minimum mthly charge, for great deal.
  23. Ummmm... I can see our server for this, with people in there, from our website... but can't get in the server thru game monitor or searching long list of available online servers. Suggestions ? Seems good question if hard to find way to join our own server for COD4 ?
  24. LOL. Yes, those old pcs were such a joke compared to now. I started around 1990 with an 8088. Did net but only slowly at time. Let us all remember though and be thankful for those huge room filling code breakers that Britain made, to decipher the German sub radio messages. If not for that, I think we may not have defeated them. In my opinion, those first computers helped us put down Hitler. I say Hitler, not Germany, because many in Germany at the time did not agree, but would be shot if expressed disagreement. Anyway, just imagine at the speed our pcs have improved over 20 yrs at an increasing rate, what might be just over the horizon in next few yrs.
