Added details later, confirming what TigerHawk watched from sofa. Should have just posted the question of anyone, no one in particular, being in that unprotected spawn area waiting for boxs to return and shooting spawners. Case closed. "Dismissed" :peace:

we still had reins which is why some of us were spawning in box area that no longer had boxs. one might argue i guess he had no choice after blowing boxs, to shoot spawners as with us spawning he would get shot in back leaving area. but some spawners take a second or 2 to setup primary and secondary weapon select with mouse wheel push. thus not shooting right away, vulnerable to enemy there looking in their direction but spwaner not necessarily looking in enemy direction, so spawner gets shot in back or side wondering wth. :o

Tigerhawk knows because she was watching and i told klink at work saturday he got boxs and 3 of us while shooting at him, he was oddly hard to kill but not always ... we respawn and he still there blowing us away ... i told him thats against fair play rules of server ... he lol'd and said if you only knew who i really am ... nuff said i guess. you got that from files sent. I'd like to know what he meant with comment "if you only knew who i am". And what that has to do with me or TAC server. I try to be rather tolerant of questionable stuff and language until it gets too much or too often or slanderous. Especially when very late at night, like 4-5 am est. Granted because it was soo late i had been playing for many hrs and was getting tired and less tolerant.

If you already in map and all leave, seems they gave up cap to you, so take it. If starting empty map, don't take last flag or boxs or truck, maybe take all but last flag, pull back and wait near middle or base. Don't hide near enemy spawn for cheap kills. Farther back you hide/wait the better you know where enemy is going as you see onscreen what points he takes. Thus making for challenge of needing to move stealthily to find each other. Thus a good challenge to each if you get 1 vs 1 :peace: :peace:

It's been brought to my attention that certain walls in some maps can be shot thru. Sometimes making the victims think wall hack in use. I was unaware til mentioned to me since i never try shooting thru a wall, possibly wasting ammo and giving my whereabouts away. I think I should share this new info to me with everyone so fewer will complain and be aware and capitalize as well . I'm told besides obvious stud/plaster house walls letting bullets thru, other concrete/brick walls do, especially if they appear cracked or damaged in any way. One example is map Upham where small hall has door beside long ladder to water from under bridge. Apparently that wall has a visible crack indicating damaged, letting those hiding in that hall get shot from outside. Hmmm ... reasons to put up with old tiring maps to see where we can shoot Anyone with more light to shed on this subject please do.

Gator has expressed being tired of FA, like most TAC "contributing" members. You all that use it must remember he only keeps it running for the few he respects and acknowledges contributions to TAC for. You all that want a "controlled" FA server must realize, "keeping the peace," means less wining, and more donating may help keep FA alive on TAC atleast for a little while longer . With any game there will be cheaters and bad-mouthers ... they should be very careful what they do and say if they wish to keep playing here as long as possible ... which is why i don't report and send all condumps and video dem files to his executives which with good credibility would permanently ban such players that use bad bossy insultive language ... we FA lovers must appreciate GATOR and his tired devotion to maintaining an FA server for us ... before you wine about anything consider have you paid anything to him for these generous servors which he does for his enjoyment and ours. But realize as he told me he doesn't need our donations to maintain such servers , you all should be very thankful and donate what you can in thanks to him ;-) I have many condumps and video/audio recordings good enough to ban many from fa at tac ... but i haven't forwarded them to him to spare him and tac admins wasted time in my opinion ... in other words ... use descretion ... late like 3-5 am some will be drunk ... so i warn them ... and start recording ... if they don't smarten up they will suffer ... bottom line is fa gonna die soon ... the better we respect each others' different opinions and wine less the longer it may stay here ... thanks to all that do their best to keep balanced teams ... i could mention names but won't as i consider that trivial, late at night, drinking/, unless i catch them with console record obvious rule breaking continuous after warnings ... most will chill after their venting ... so i like we all let it go. to conclude on a positive note we all should thank and donate to Gator to keep the game servers alive don't you think ? Thanks to all TAC members that have strived for this best most used FA server in the world ... and usually done so ... you others think about what i said and the fact that they also have non-tac players spying for the better of their best-of-world fa server

I think you do it like we did with 2.5 earlier this yr ... in half-life folder is subfolder called firearms with all 2.9 fa ... also in half-life folder is folder named firearms25 ... both these show on steam game choice list ... so put all fa 3.0 stuff in additional folder called firearms30.

It seems this needs to be updated to one currently in use as I've had someone xfire me saying he couldn't join map yet had tac download for it. Could you update this downloadable map, thanks.

speaking of sprays, i miss the fun of seeing some really good and really funny ones in fa, until conversion to steam, others said, was preventing it after that. yet tigerhawk says she's seen some recently. is their a special secret trick to getting them to work in fa in steam ?

hmmm ... try TAC website flash games. That hexagon one is realy challenging. Try a strategy game like Red Alert 2, Yuri's Revenge, etc. They less boring and more time consuming. Practice helo maneuvers in bfv and play the war and surfin bird songs :peace: You need a new challenge, like going for certain stats maybe in shooters.

When i put up internet accessible bfv game with village map, no password since only those with gator's map could get in, i call server "Hogan's Helos" I still in training so really "suck" At flying, trying joystick but harder then keyboard. Yet keyboard certainly doesn't give much fast manuverability

Very cool map. Found the secret. You can get from Cong side to U.S. side and steal a chopper I won't say where since that's part of the fun to find. I hope Gator leaves that secret So both sides could have helo wars Make sure you ready with sa7 on cong side to shoot them down with 2 shots :lies: For those unaware of map, 5 flags cong side, 1 U.S. side, no helos cong side, 6 U.S. side can be fun, his fog makes sniping hard

I have 2 CS's for 2 pcs. I'm wondering if CS:S is the same or what changes/additions does it have ? Be specific please and thankyou. Is there team-only voice ? When you 1st join, do you have many choices for armor/weapons/skill ? Or do you have to hope your team wins enough rounds to get you the money to have choices ? Are the maps the same ? Because, if it not much different, why would we want to pay for 2 more just to play thru steam ?

Great work Jasun. Interesting detail in those stats. Mostly left arm hits, because they all righties ? I understand seeing steam ids, but don't see need to advertise people's ip addresses, which could be used by some to try attacks to those pcs.

Well, I've yet to hear of a game other then FA, that allows all the armor-grenades-guns-skills choices like FA does and has team radio.

I see them all. Maybe some of you need something like free add-on Macromedia Shockwave for such flash animations ?
