I voted beach but I like cruises as well. I've been on a few Royal Carribean crusies and they are a lot of fun. We're also looking into a Mediterranean cruise in early august.

Thank you, thank you, thank you I was just playing a round and had a lot of fun. Titan and conquest mix well together. I don't even think it's the fact that people don't know how to read freefall(which believe me, they dont), NS just didn't have as big of an impact as some of the other booster/expansion packs did.

Thats pretty cool guys, my last day is June 16th I believe. Since AP tests are finally all over it's pretty much home free from here. We've stopped doing "real" work in most of my classes, just mini-projects and other work to keep us busy until june. Where are you going next year?

It's really not worth fighting over, but I think having this third server proves a point. If ns was so popular, why hasn't it been running in a few days and the titan only server has been? Thats all I'm trying to say, I think mixing titan and NS would be detrimental and would lower the player count. But whatever you guys want to do is fine. EDIT: Just noticed the servers were all combined together, have fun with it

Nope, I'm sure of what I'm saying NS was a big waste of $10, I think the maps are un-original and boring. I actually have liked what we've done the past few days, city server and titan server full I don't like those conquest/ns whatever maps. I love it the way it is now.

I've been having a lot of fun on it too Hopefully we can get it alive again and kicking.

I didn't see anything in DC that made is stand out from any other of the bf2 mods, granted there are new models and skins...so what? The mods need something new and fresh to make people want to play it, some of the new modes of DC weren't exciting and played poorly on some of the maps. Maybe because they released a partially finished/playable version. But EOD did a much better job attracting me than DC. EOD has some dark maps, but that makes it fun. You need to stay alert and look where your going, maybe they do to need to lighten it up and add some nvg's but they have done so much already to it.

I tried it, it was alright, nothing special. I thought the vietnam mod was much better.

You actually can't use the APC pods to get on top of buildings, they do not go high enough.

I'm sorry, but thats a bad idea. I personally hate NS, there is nothing new, fun, or innovative to it. I enjoy titan mode, it's fun and brings something new to the battlefield. I actually enjoyed it the way we had it when 2142 first launched, a city server and titan server. Now what we could do is have the city server and than have a conquest/titan server and drop NS all together. But that would be too perfect

IMO this map should be removed from the cycle, putting it back on has confirmed why it was off in the first place. It's one big camp map and it's not fun, many people seem to leave. This is just from what people were saying on vent.

I liked playing the titan server this evening, maybe it could replace the ns?

Agreed on the first part of what you said.. One server is going to sit empty, we should not have three servers, IMO it's a silly idea. One of the them is never going to get started, but we will still have 1 or 2 people idling on them when we could be actually playing on one of our other two servers.

I don't get out until June 18th, but it's a waste of time now. Everything is done, most of my classes are just fillers until the end of the year.

I believe it's problem with the server and their mail hosts, not their individual problems.

I don't think there would be enough interest, many people can't seem to run titan maps because it causes too much lag on their system. The layout we have right now seems to be pretty popular; we have a city conquest server for the fans of close quarters battles, and a larger conquest/NS server for fans of larger vehicle maps mixed together with Northern Strike. They seem to be doing pretty well on their own, when we get both of them started they tend to stay full unless one of them crashes. Usually the first few rounds can take very large amounts of time and aren't fun, I think sticking to what we have now would be better in my opinion. After reconsidering it I changed my vote to no from don't care.

I just took a closer look, only glanced at the first page, it's sort of like Myspace crossed with second life in a way. Interesting...

So it's like a Second Life type of site?

Isn't that basically what the Battlefield 2142 section is for?
