Both are pretty fun games. In BFVietnam, unlike the later BF games, when you shoot people they go down pretty fast. We still play it every now and then, we can even bring up a server. I will ocassionally dust off my 1942, suprisingly there are still a lot of people who play the game.

I like the uav,emp,defuser changes. Bunny hopping is a part of online gaming, it should be left alone. Honestly the only they can do is make it so you can't jump at all, now what fun would that be I think some of the changes are a little too realistic; some of commander changes sound interesting.

Don't really like the project reality aspects of it, I think it would eliminate any of the fun aspects left in the game. But some of the changes are cool.

I played this Mod a while back when w9 first brought it up, it's pretty crazy.

I can't find any, EA site is much better. These sites rarely update because EA won't send them the stats feed. I haven't used this thing since BF2.

Anybody caught moving the squad beacon will be dealt with, having to adjust the sensitivity and doing special mouse movements is not a "tactic".

Nope, that's basically whats supposed to happen.

It's when you move the pod anywhere besides where it places you. Squad leader beacons take you straight down, some mouses allow you to change the sensitivity to allow you to control where you land.

If you see something, report it. We will do our best to take care of it, but remember we want to enjoy the game too.

There's not much we can do about the balance of the team skill wise, we try not to stack ourselves all onto the same team and we distribute ourselves fairly evenly. Unfortunately, sometimes it's still uneven and one team is going to be stronger than the other. We can possibly try out the "no spawn camping" rule and see how it plays out. The specific instance you made about the engineer doesn't personally seem like spawn killing it me, I think the upper part of the ramp is fine to be at, it's a part of the game and you need to make a strategy to take it out. If see somebody "pod exploiting" we will always try our best to make sure we deal with the issue. As Gator mentioned, a lot of us are getting very tired with the game and are taking a break from it.

According to CNN, in 2005 a court found him mentally unstable and referred him to counseling. Why didn't the University know about this?? He also sent a package to NBC with photos, writings and other details. Apparently he sent it between the first and second shootings.

No matter which game we do end up picking, the most important thing we will need to have in order for this to work out is commitment. It will take at least a full week of us sitting on the server to build back a player base, once we get that back we should be good to go.

I think they added it to show up in one of the more recent punkbuster updates. I've seen posts about it on totalbf2142 and punkbuster, I'll try to find it. -edit- Here is some more info

Not even the worst school shooting, but the worst shooting period in US History. It boggles my mind to think of why people do crap like this, this is why our world is so screwed up. The fact that they had 2 shootings is just terrible.
