  2. depends, bf2 ran fine on my computer on low settings and i didn't really care. But if they pump up the requirements im going to have to upgrade my computer first. Depends on what everyone else is playing then too.

  4. it was never put into the game, a few things never made it to the final cut.

He was banned for impersonating sgoss and generally annoying people. Kept saying gunho called him racial slurs and should be banned. gator made the ban for steveo.
  8. Its actually been pretty fun, theres 20 people on the server right now. People seem to be happy the server is back up.
  9. have no fear guys, it also said dice canada would be working on 1.3, all should be good now. I see they are just passing around the job to make the next patch from country to country.

Those rumors aren't true. You click download from EA's website and enter the appropriate info, you then enter a gamespy id, you can make a new one if you dont have one already. Once you enter thte payment info, you need to enter your actual bf2 name. That's all.
  11. its on our site too klink, i think.
  12. heh, yea. Its going to come down to that if bf2 keeps going down this path.

  14. it happened, it was pretty fun. We got on at around 11:50 est. i had to go a little early at around 1, my computer was acting weird. Not sure how long everyone else stayed on.
  15. even impact says its weird, so its not just me
  16. if your registered for any of the planetbattlfield forums you already have a gamespy account. Most people should already have one.

Hehe, thats how i was when bf2 came out. I played all day.
  21. Suprisingly i actually had no problems with it, i payed for it, and got it all working on the first try. Guess i just had some good luck.
  22. uhh...good question? lol.
  23. I wasn't really sure about all the next gen stuff. I've been a sony person for a while, ps1, ps2 ,psp etc.. But unless they can get the playstation hub(their version of live) up and running good then im probably not getting it. Ps2 online was terrible, they need a unified service. I knew it would be pushed back anyway. A spring launch was unrealistic. Im not really sure if im going to be buying any of them, you still can't even buy an xbox around here. Still sold out at most of the stores. I will wait until the details of ps3 are finalized before i make my decision.
  24. thats weird klink, it took me aruond 20 minutes to download from their EA downloader. I would just think spec ops should have been completely seperate and this should have been integrated with regular bf2.
