This is for counter strike source, and we are definitely looking for more members. If you or anyone else is interested, please go to www.caleague.com and signup, look for the Armory clan under Counter Strike Source in the Open Division. The password is 'jobu' for signup, and match times are every Monday at 8:30 pm Central.

The final details of tomorrows match are coming in. We are playing 1up. Please download the ACS (anti-cheat system) from http://caleague.com/?page=acs beforehand. The map will be de_contra.

Looks like we have everyone, but I made a mistake and didn't contact the team yesterday, so they reported a win. I sent them a message in IRC, and hopefully they will grant us the match tonight. Stay tuned.

I'll be honest with you, bunny hopping hasn't helped me a whole great deal. Sometimes, I can get 3-4 good hops and go a little faster, but most of the time I am just bouncing around like a retard not going faster at all. The one thing I will say has helped a lot though is learning how to air-strafe. Now, I do see myself still using that to jump around things. In some ways bunny hopping has hurt me because I had to bind my mouse wheel to jump. I used to use the mousewheel down to scope in for my awp, and that took me a long time to relearn, and I am still not back to where I was with the awp.

I have always liked Circuit City because of the warranties they offered.

If anyone else wants to be in CAL, sign up immediately. The 15th is the cutoff day.

If you want to learn, a bunch of us on the server can help you learn. You first gotta bind +jump to your mouse wheel, and learn how to air-strafe.

I don't think this was a website where you enter in personal information. Instead it used an IE exploit which was just patched last week.

Yea, I think we need to do a round of recruiting again and get more people signed up. The team we had last Monday was at least CAL-IM potential maybe better, but how long can we keep that group going? One good thing about our CAL meetings, its always the same time, and lasts about 30-45 minutes. I am relying on everyone's experience in lieu of practice. Our team leader was SlipWolf, and I thought he did a superb job. All CAL matches in our division default to Monday @ 8:30pm Central if the leaders can't agree on another time. They might request an alternate time, but I'll almost always deny it. This is GAME TIME, when the match starts, so it is important to be on time if you want to participate. Working hard around the holidays sucks! I won't be able to take a vacation until January too.

<TAC> just handed the arch enemy .uNK clan (or whatever they go by now) a decimating defeat that shook their clan to it's core. Word is that several members of the .uNK clan quit shortly after their embarassing loss to try and become a part of the Armory community instead. Also, another team that claims to be going CAL-O was also defeated by <TAC>. Although their attempts were futile, both opposing teams resorted to name calling and insults to try and gain any leverage against the dominating <TAC>

I thought I heard you guys on vent winning against the team, but Arab says we lost 0-2? Ninja, are you playing on some other CAL team? I seen you on some other server with another tag.

We had a successful turnout of 6 players. There were two matches, and we went 1-1. We kicked one teams butt so bad, they quit early! Congratulations to <TAC> Next weeks map will be de_dust2 again and possibly de_nuke. If anyone can get the strats for de_nuke, please share next Monday.

I need the CS:S admins to try starting the server. Just yesterday I was in the server for about 15 minutes and I got 7 people in there. I've been working out of town this week and I am working 10 hour days 6 days a week right now until the end of this month, and the server has been completely dead since I haven't been around, and this shouldn't be! Enough people have admin and play CS:S, so start the server!
