If you are kicked/banned from the CS:S server by an (=A=) member, don't come whining to me. If you can't work it out with the admin that kicked/banned you, you deserve it.

Be careful guys. I seen my first hacker in Source in a long time a couple days ago in our server. I wouldn't even have checked because his score sucked, but I was briefed on the situation from another (=B=) squad member. I spectator-viewed him and it was very obvious. Veterans of Counter Strike can easily see this, so just hand them a ban. I 'writeid' every day before I restart the server just to be sure all the bans get written to the file.

There is not currently an Armory (=A=) scrim team this season, however we do have a 10 slot match server set up with CAL rules so we are ready and set to go. I wish I could run the scrim team too, but unfortunately I do not have the time. This might be a good time to start pulling some of these (=B=) squad and {SIN} admins from the Source server into the (=A=) Armory clan for the sole purpose of joining CAL and doing scrims. I'll nominate at least one trial server admin by next week for joining the Armory clan. What do the other Armory members think? Ifrit, we have a whole forum section dedicated to leagues.

I should have the match server completely configured by this afternoon.

Thanks Eskimo. Try out Hang em High. I've included many custom features to try to make it more Halo-like, such as health regeneration, pickup-able items (not weapons yet but soon), Master Chief skins, and I think I have gravity set right, and team match mode similar to Team Slayer with quick spawning.

Map and Sound downloading has been throttled greatly from 150kbps to over 8mbps per client. I couldn't test the full speed because that is where my modem caps. No need for map packs now, Have fun!

That is the beauty of this server. There are no extra wavs or plugins to download except for the sounds in gungame. I have made sure not to rename anything or give custom names to maps which can cause un-needed downloading. Chances are if you have ever played a gungame map, you already downloaded nearly everything that is on this server anyway. Typically, the gun game maps take very little time to download. There are maps however that are going to take time to download, and I am going to run these maps, such as as_oilrig_source and of course, I will be including the VIP mode in that. If you are concerned about a laggy server, forget it!. I am using a low level mod on the server that speeds things up and reduces lag. This is a true 100 tick server and one of my admins who is CAL-IM says he gets as good registration on his bullets here as he does on his other 2 CAL match servers. I am also working on a fast download setup where clients receive maps and sounds from a webhost rather than the CS:S server.

Server is back up!

The server is down right now getting a new upgrade. This will enable many more modes to play and increase server stability. I expect the server to be up and running by about 3pm MST.

You should be able to nominate these maps and rock the vote now. I am working on a new mode for Hang em High where everyone gets shotguns, deagles and nades at the beginning of the round, and also 2 second respawn time.

The CAL maps are all now loaded onto the Source server. The maps are not yet available through rock the vote and nominate menus, but will be soon. The admins can change to this map at anytime.

Hey impact whats up, haven't played bf2142 in a long time. Now running the armory counter strike source server . I just loaded up all the cal maps, and some old school fun maps like iceworld and estate. I also just loaded up cs_crackhouse which is a new map that has high ratings.

The CS:S server now has this map installed. To download, just log into the server, it is a 5 minute download. This was a popular old school counter-strike 1.6 map. Counter-terrorists have to raid a home to save three hostages, one upstairs, one on the first floor, and one downstairs.
