I haven't seen either of the teams games this year but i saw some of the Patriots games last year and they were impressive so if i had to chose I'd go with the Patriots.

does this mean it will be any faster?

high speed cable with a real good connection usually ping around 50 to this server 30-40 to our FA server. i think its a combination of things but mostly the lack of lots of ram

i really LOL'd. if you know who they are tell them to use a different service than yahoo's angelfire service just tell them to do a search for free webhost in google and they'll find hundreds that are alot better than angelfire.

well its been 5-8 minutes usually but sometimes its as long as 10-12 minutes but i imagine your right roach i'll prolly just end up living with this for sometime. and just take a break during the load times.

I know that would help but like i said in my first post I'm already behind on my bills and I'm going to be broke for awhile. But thanks anyway,

It has been taking me 5-8 minutes to load each map. Twice last night on 2 different maps the map finished before i was done loading. So does anyone have any idea as to what i could do (that doesnt cost any money im already behind on my bills-----in other words I'm broke).

Tis true HL in general is in transition. Everyone's mouths are watering ever since the news that there would be a(n) HL2. Tis also true that the FA community lost a lot of servers and players when the world opponent network dropped its support and everyone was supposed to move over to the slower and more troublesome Steam network. For myself I've been playing FA off and on since 2.3 and I have seen many of changes over that time. RC2.9 will bring lots of improvements over the current version but when they finally bring out HL2 the community will take another big hit for they are already working on modifications for the unreleased game. Only time will tell as to what will happen to Half-life and the current modifications, FA included. I have always liked half-life and will continue playing it someway or another, and I will also always try to stay with my new friends here in the Armory. i use Foobar 2000 itsa a great player as well as a great converter though i usually convert to ogg vorbis instead of mp3 it can convert files to mp3.

i've been trying to get in steam but im getting the error steam cannot connect to server. and steam's website is down to boot anyone know how long its been like this?
