i hate this error especially after you just left the game to go to the bathroom or to go get something to drink. You come back expecting to be able to join in where you left off then boom this comes up. Did I ever mention this"Steam you got to love it".

do a exit and logout of steam the restart steam and login again that cleared it up for me on error 31:)

btw if you get a validation error when trying to join a game: do a exit and logout from steam then login again it worked for me. Now if it wouldn't give me 1200-1500 ping spikes i would be happy. But like i said before got to love it .

check with your manufacturer? Maybe they know about the problem and have a firmware update for your drives bios!

maybe you set up some settings that are too high for your video card or they require different video card drivers! other wise i would suggest changing 1 setting at a time to rectify your situation
