Haven't visited that site in about a year, I remember it being quite sad Especially when you clicked on their profiles and you saw all their friends leaving messages addressing the deceased Normally when you hear that somebody dies it gives no emotion because you don't know that person at all, and tons of people die every day. But when you can click on their profile and get a glimpse of who they were, what they liked, who they were friends with, etc etc then I dunno, it's just worse

Well thanks to EA's terrible methods I could make a new soldier named Cossu and it'd have all my unlocks/stats/everything But yes, you'd get the pile of decomposed slush for that

That would defeat the purpose of the pod. The purpose of dropping in a pod to a beacon is that the other team has a chance of seeing the pods drop and figuring out there is a beacon. If you just popped there then they would have no idea what was hitting them.
