  1. I can see that. You have to know your own limits, nothing wrong with that. Additionally, who wants to be sucked into something that is designed to take up all your time?
  2. I saw a video for Tabula Rasa (Richard Garriot's Tabula Rasa) during E3 this year and it looked good, but looks aside how will it play? Well, I received a beta key and the client earlier tonight and I will soon find out if this is just another MMO or something worth trying out. This is a closed beta so I expect a large number of problems; although, I am hoping I can get some indication of the direction of the title. This one has been in development for a long time now with high expectations. From what I have seen, it appears to be a turn-based MMO with levels, experience, leveled equipment, etc. Some of the terminology also resembles standard MMO components. i.e. "missions" = "quests", "squad" = "party", etc. Honestly, I am not looking forward to another MMO of this type, but the game may be enjoyable for a number of other reasons.

I think I remember playing with you in BF2 as well
  4. Mmm, I like the red though..it's my favorite color!
  5. I did not know Brandon nor did I play with him, but this is very tragic indeed. It is futile to attempt to contain the value of a life within words, much less mine. I am sorry for you and your family's loss Charles and I wish all of you well.
  6. Bioshock ships next month! 8/21 Crysis ships in November: 11/13
  7. Very nice, but I agree with Year Old Taco on the overlapping text; of course, I hate to say anything negative because it's great.
  8. I've never done too much commanding really, but I will eventually.
  9. Maybe both, I like what I have seen of COD4. Crysis has been on my list for a long time, I liked what the developer did with Far Cry, but both will probably be more single-player games for me. Speaking of single-player games...BIOSHOCK! I can't wait for Bioshock and I look forward to that game more than either of the other two.
  10. Rain collection system anyone?
  11. I'm just curious to see how they "fix" it
  12. I am thinking of getting this, especially if I know people that play it. You're building a new computer hollow4?
  13. My stats just make me realize how crappy I am!
  14. I think the unlocks are definitely worth it, but I think it's also an unfortunate (consumer) aspect of the booster pack. In a way, you are pressured to purchase the booster pack just so that you have access to the unlocks and not necessarily because the content is attractive. I have had the booster pack since its release and have not played the maps very often, but I use the unlocks in every game. *EDIT* Also let me use the latte analogy, which is too convenient for these types of purchases: I sometimes buy a few iced lattes at Starbucks or other coffee shops during the week; the money that I spend there gets me much less value than a booster pack. Of course, I'm not sure we should benchmark all of our spending by frivolous latte purchases.
  15. With some of the X360 and PC games performance varying wildly, I will wait to see the performance on the PC. If the engine doesn't perform well, then I will get it for the X360 or if there are interface problems with either version. I definitely prefer mouse+keyboard for shooters, but accuracy won't matter if it doesn't run well.
