Another update was released today but I have no idea what it is. It's just a little smaller than the one from yesterday. Aaaaaaaaand it didn't fix the sound issue or crashing.

The game is unplayable due to the lag at the moment but a lot of servers are experiencing the same thing.

Did you play the beta after they improved the performance? My PC isn't that great and it ran just fine after the patch. Core i5 2500 @3.3ghz, GTX 560 TI, 8GB RAM, W7 64-bit. 1920x1080. All high settings but with anti-aliasing turned off.

Nope. Got school in the morning.

Looks fun but it's going to be annoying when someone floods the map 2 minutes into the game while you're in a ground vehicle. Also here's LC's Flood Zone video:

They need to do much less damage vs. tanks for sure. As for choppers, they should do just a little less damage. Not too much less though. They are AA vehicles so they should be good vs. aircraft.

We have hardcore mode to fix that problem

I noticed sometimes the boat randomly spawns on rooftops or on the street. Yesterday when I was playing, the boat spawned between D and E and I was using it to defend the street between the two flags.

Faith in DICE has been restored.

It makes me dizzy. That's usually the first thing I do with games. Make sure motion blur is disabled.

The one that was paralyzed was driving while his license was suspended so any chance of him winning a lawsuit probably went down the drain. In some states if you're the victim of an accident but at the same time you were driving without a license or were breaking the law in some other way which could have lead to the incident, you're at fault.

After playing some more with the tank, I think damage vs. other tanks is fine, as well as damage vs. the APC. Still, if you shoot at a guy standing against a wall, he should not survive. When I was playing earlier, a guy that was just standing still survived TWO tank shells and managed to kill me with an RPG.

Tank shells do nothing vs. infantry. A direct hit with a tank shell on a guy didn't kill him, yet when I fall 5 feet I die.

Yeah but you upgrade PCs more often than consoles.

Well, the games no. Systems yes. That is one positive to the consoles, you'll always be able to run games.

Those are pretty silly reasons because reasons 3-10 are for every system.

Hopefully the BF4 server will be alive and kicking on release day. We just need to figure out a way to draw in a crowd and keep them. Encourage others to sign up for the website and to come back to our server. We need to create a friendly environment so people will want to come back. Don't abuse admin privilages or whatever because that might turn people away from our server.

A lot of people think Half Life 3 will be the 3rd announcement.

Same thing happened to me. I thought "oh cool this will optimize all of my games". Nope, most of my games ran even worse because the settings were higher.

Well that one that says Assault Basic shows needing just 7 kills with an assault rifle and 11 heals, but that is just the basic one so maybe the do get more difficult as you go along.

I have the first 2 (got them for about $5 each), but I haven't played the third one yet.
