  1. I think he means built ground up on each platform individually, because BF3 on PC will be a DX10/11 game, while on the consoles it'll be a DX9 game.
  2. Found this new interview earlier today. Don't mind some of the German words in the link, the interview is in English.http://www.pcgames.de/Battlefield-3-PC-221396/News/Battlefield-3-Dice-im-Interview-ueber-Kampagne-Multiplayer-Bots-Server-Probleme-und-Call-of-Duty-814499/4/

I played it for a whole 20 seconds. It crashed and froze, and it felt like a console port. You can't even use DX10 or 11. No anti-aliasing or advanced graphics settings. All you can choose from is Gamer, Advanced, Hardcore, and something else. Normal I think.
  4. I believe he was playing a couple of days ago. You weren't around at the time.
  5. Same old same old unless I can think of something creative.
  6. Nothing from MP, but it still looks cool.

Yeah that was fun, should do it more often.
  8. Nice! Downloading at 2.86MB/s... Well, I was. Getting anywhere between 1.6 and 2.1
  9. Hahaha that poll is so lopsided, 9-48 (yes-no). I voted no.
  10. Unfortunately. Battlefield 3 on PC will not support DX9 which also means it won't support XP. From what I've read, XP only supports up to DX9. If you want Battlefield 3 you'll have to upgrade to Vista or 7.
  11. Can somebody resize this image so it'll fit the forum size limit? http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/4259/bf3beast.jpg It shows up this size but whenever I put it in my sig, it takes up half the screen.
  12. Here's some things I read about it on the EA UK forums and the Steam forums. Apparently you can drag teammates to safety before you revive them. Explosions can knock you down. Some map locations will be in the U.S., Iran, and across Europe. And here's something interesting: Digital River is under contract with EA, so this is probably legit, look at the bottom right-hand corner. http://drh.img.digitalriver.com/DRHM/Storefront/Site/eaemea/pb/images/battlefield_3/container_bgr_EN.jpg
  13. Jets, prone, AND 64 player multiplayer? SIGN ME UP
  14. They are revealing something about BF3 tomorrow. Kits or something. I read it on the EA forums.
  15. Let's try it now, I'll be in the server. Wait, it can't be our server since it's Vietnam. We gotta have ATVs. Well, now I can't even login.
  16. The local news down here would be panicking so much if there was ever that much snow.
  17. Oh wow, I've seen some of the suggestions that have been posted, and alot of the Xbox and PS3 players want zombies, a singleplayer campaign, SMALLER MAPS because they said Bad Company 2's maps were TOO BIG, LESS vehicles, and capture the flag and other "Call of Duty-ish" game modes. I really hope DICE doesn't read those.
  18. Merry Christmas everyone!

Nice. I just joined for a few minutes about 8:10 CST and it was packed.
  20. Looks better watching it on the actual Youtube site because you can watch it in HD.
  21. Yeah I played it some yesterday. It was ok, but BF2 will always be my favorite game, no game is like it.
  22. Dan, there's a new patch that was just released about half an hour ago. I've been reading on other forums that the performance issues have been fixed.
  23. Have you tried reinstalling?
  24. Well they are working on a patch right now. They elimimated some of the issues with the previous patch but some people are indeed still having problems.
