I was just playing Daqui Oilfields with two of my friends in 1 squad. A couple of chinese had just tried to take the gasstation point, so we ran up on the roof and took them out. One of my friends set a claymore on the ladder why me (medic) and my other friend (spec ops) shot at some guys over the front sign. Then, this loaded transport helicopter came down, and started spraying it's machineguns at us. It landed, and I took out the side gunner. A bunch of guys jumped out of the back and basically rushed the gasstation. A spec ops and an anti-tank ran around back while some other support guy stood out front shooting at us. The anti-tank guy came up the ladder first, and hit the claymore, killing him and my sniper friend who was close by still. I killed the support guy and turned around, pistol ready, just as the spec ops came up the ladder. He killed me just as my other friend killed him. It was intense, you had to be there

I'm not entirely sure how Battlerecorder works, but I'm pretty sure it's a server-side thing. Do you think TAC's BF2 server could activate it without a major hit to latency/performace? I've been looking into possibly making a Bf2 movie and getting some footage off the server would be cool

meh, neither were too too helpful. The first just skimmed over all the tabs in the menu and told you some of the basics. and the second link told you the major basis of each class, something you could probably figure out after 10 minutes with each class. Also, I watched the videos, and the girl there really itched at me because it was obvious she knew nothing about it, and was just reading off some kind of cue card or something. I was really hoping for some video or console tweaks to get me more performance or something these guides would be good for new players, but beyond that it's just a refresher

gameplay has always stayed the same throughout MGS games (stealth, with tads of action, etc.)This probably won't be too far off, just a few more aggressive tricks on the stealth part (since it is an urban environment)

Trailer - http://files.lachy.org/ruliweb_mgs4.wmv this game (or...trailer...whatever) has cemented my purchase of a PS3 I've always been a fan of the MGS series (only wrapped 1 though...that will change when I get MGS3: Substitence) and this looks to be amazing. The main character IS Solid Snake, there have been lots of argument over whether it was Solidus, Big Boss, etc. but this trailer seemed to finish those. It's also most likely going to look EXACTLY like that ingame, since Konami never do rendered cinematics, they always use the ingame engine for cinematics. Don't see why'd they go of course now. 2006, so far away... Discuss.

yes, and now, the bazooka classes are supposed to have their own rifles for anti-personnel defence. Don't think that was the greatest idea, just hoping it's not overpowered or something also...IRONSIGHTS!
