ok, on comp now..but money wasted? I think not. The thing does everything. It plays movies (going to put some on soon), is a roving mp3 player (putting some music on tonight), plays games (good games at that, I'm thoroughly enjoying Lumines and Metal Gear Acid), and now can surf the net. haha, just noticed that the L on cool is an I

  12. Well, Google does it again. They just released their newest program, a google Instant Messanging service. talk.google.com I've been using this for the past hour with some friends, and I can easily say it tops MSN and AIM So, you use your g-mail account, so you don't have to sign up for anything new. You add other people to your list. As it is with google, everything is small, neat/tidy, and good google color scheme, which is very convienant. It doesn't have any pop-ups or 'MSN TODAY!' type screens that come up when you start, which is very nice. Glad to see they haven't collapsed to the commerical market yet. Also, they included a stellar VOIP into it. Right now, you can only talk to 1 person at a time, but it is really good. Very good quality, it sounds just like a phone call (to emphasis this, whenever you invite someone to a VOIP session, you are 'sending them a phone call' and you hear telephone rings. If the person doesn't accept, they miss it, like a real phone). Whenever you talk to a new person, it stacks that IM window under any other IM windows you have open. You can then click on the person's name, and the IM window will shrink down to a little bar, so you can easily file through all the people you're talking to. Only complaints I have is that it would be awesome if you could add multiple people to a conversation, then talk to all of them with your mic. It would be an amazing replacement to Ventrilo and Teamspeak. And no webcam support as I know of (but you can be sure they'll add that in the near future) It'd also be neat if you could call real world places, but I'm just dreaming with that one anyway, those of you with gmail accounts, I highly recommand getting this then sending out invites to all your friends. add me when you get it arstpierre@gmail.com just like to add, the program is still in beta, so there are many more features and improvements to come http://www.google.com/talk/about.html

  18. some of those shots were really sketchy, such as the walls shots near the end. and no scopping is easy in DoD, it can be done simply by applying tape on the screen where the crosshair should be. Also, he modified his Axis scope to make it the allie's scope, which I do believe is illegal in leagues
  19. Now, lets just expand that optic fibre to the size of a spaceship and we'll be set
  20. 9/11 Grade 7. In school, just before class, cramming before a test. I remember all the teachers were in the teacher's lounge and some were crying as they walked back to the classes. Some the of kids said New York was being bombed and I remember one of the kids saying the Russians had attacked and America was going to war. That freaked me the out. We were sent home at lunch.
