Tried, tried again, manual deletion, clean registry, reinstall.. same error.. and nothing at all from EA about it anywhere.. the northern strike exe file btw (for you to copy) is in the c:\programdata\ file that EA creates./

Use it for millions of things.. its some ultra "low tack" stuff so its good in place of cable ties, or for more delicate areas of the PC.. also good for fixing wires to the undersides of the desk (i hate untidy wires.. absolutly)

Well technically it wasnt laughing at him.. it was the fact that he was stuck on a rock in the middle of the river being shot with paintballs, that was funny..

Basically my motherboard went bang... sat there, watching a youtube video (it was karma i am sure, laughing at some fat kid get shot with a paintball gun).. all hell breaks loose, burning smell, 2 tone warning siren, literally, and a complete lockup of system. had to hard reboot, and then it wouldnt post at all.. cleared Cmos, gets to post, wont even start.. fans on, CD drives spinning up, no post still.. anyhow, there was a light at teh end of this tunnel, in the fact that i had already called the "store" to arrange an RMA for the motherboard for what appeared to be an unrelated incident (one of the fan controllers, and hence the fan power plug on the mobo, had ceased to work.) and had already arranged a replacement (EVGA nForce 680i SLI SKT775 - cause they were out of stock of the IN9) it was cheaper so they agree'ed also to let me purchase the new DVD drive (old DVDRW failed as well, lol having a good week) and, although they are charging me for the total order, are going to refund completely the price I paid for the motherboard, including shipping costs back to them, when they receive the product, which i feel is very VERY reasonable.. so.. monday sometime i will have my new EVGA nForce 680i, and be sporting a nice up to date system once more.
