honestly then if you are after beautiful crisp clear rich sound, not too OTT at hte top and the bottom end of the range, then you really want to be spending your cash on the CX300's They have been a few hifi magazines (HiFi World, What HiFi)'s top choices for a while in their pricerange.. Entymotic research though... they are simply amazing.. even i couldnt tell the difference between them, and a pair of Grado RS1s (the $3000+ range that grado offer) on a $30k Absolute sounds setup at the last hifi show in london that i went to..

Sennheiser CX300 range sounds wildly better.. softer base, nicer treble, Sony tends to be mainstream, for whatever you will pay for the CX's you will not be dissapointed.. i promise you that, i use these religiously, and they sound *almost as good* as my Grado SR325s when i listen to music on my HiFi

CX300s are the best you can buy for the money.. Comfy and sound great.. I am sorry but having spent an entire 4 hours on the server today *Trying* to get it started, i think you should not be in here complaining as you spent all of about 20 minutes on the server.. carry on playing CSS both of you.. add that to the... i dunno, 200 hours in the last month that me, ding, rebel, KFA and a few others have been on the servers killing each other..

ETQW is alot of fun imo.. you do have to give it a little chance though.. say 5 hours of playtime then it becomes a good game once you are used to everything. io heard that FoW has the same type of gameplay as BF series.. but it at the moment is "just another game" unlike say HL2 when it came out.. etc.. i am sure there will be some reviews sometime soon

@speaks and grim Not so much the resources it uses, just the space it takes up - could be used for something more... profitable in terms of attrating players to the armory (2-3 COD4 servers... HC mixed, 56player TDM HC, and possibly a mod maps server?) 2 Quakewars servers and BF2/BF2SF server... There is no point holding open empty servers, when we could replace them with something that DOES pull in players, because at the end of the day, new players is what the armory is about... they keep us "afloat" financially,. and contribute to our servers.. more players = more full servers = more players to fill those servers... personally i dont really care that we have empty servers because like people said, they simply run and dont take up resources, but i do care that we have empty servers that could be full if they were being taken up by another game..

i was refering to the servers that we host specifically, The reason i am thinking this is because.. alot of people ahve suggested getting rid of our server, i dont like this idea. but i dont think it is efficient to have dead weight servers on our server... there are lots of BF2142 servers out there that DO stay populated, that we could play on as and when we feel the need to, same with BF2SF, and even Vietnam, seems a little silly paying for this server if 65% of it isnt used

The reason i am posting this poll is because i feel (Dont flame me) that the BF2142 (and possibly the BF2) servers are dead weight.. Currently COD4 is the "hit game" along with quakewars.. COD4 has the run and gun people liked from BF series, and quakewars has the teamwork aspect. An interesting statistic for you, is that in the last week, the COD4 server has seen more activity than the BF2142 server and the BF2 server have put together since BF2142 patch 1.4 came out. so i would like to get an idea of what people still play regularly for my own interest..

Please feel free to join us on our COD server... simply goto "members" at the top and look to see where we are playin, usually one of us on one of our servers.. there are so many issues with the games out at the moment ~BF2142 crashes every second COD4 has 10000 players and 23000 servers BF2 doesnt have the following any more Quake is good when it gets going but takes a little while..
