These guys formed up here in SC while attending The Uni. of SC. Used to see em play before they got famous in the little bars and clubs in downtown Columbia. Always liked them. Pretty cool That Daryl is buying a house in Charleston as well. Hope he digs HOT and humidity in the 85-95% range lol. Edit... Some folks I've heard say Darius is a bit of a dick but having known these guys for a while I can attest that's the furthest from the truth. Of course I'm a bit of a dick at times so yeah. These guys would always hang out with us at the clubs they played at and just shoot the shit and have a few drinks before and after they were on.

I would like to add that the BF4 server and playing with everyone here is the sole reason for me joining TAC. I enjoyed playing on that server and the interactions with everyone involved. I would also like to add that as I see it the main difficulty is the total lack of tools the admin have at their disposal should temper our responses a tad. i reviewed the video provided and honestly, no offense BoccaRossa, after playing on the CTE with a lot of the guys like MarbleDuck, Lanky, RevOverdrive, AverageSniper, Xfator, etc and a few others this is far from egregious scoring. Ya did good but I've seen some of these guys post ASTOUNDING numbers first hand. Nothing in the video even hints at impropriety. I have posted links to our server on the CTE as well as the BF1 Reddit and really want to make sure that if we are banning people it's the idiots who are cheating not the good players. That said BoccaRossa, you guys also have to realize that we do not have the tools that we once had since the powers that be have , in their infinite wisdom, decided not to provide them when they removed the ability for the communities to build the plugins we used in BF4 so messaging, chat logs etc etc are not available to us and if there is even a hint of impropriety we do ban first and sort it out in appeals simply to provide a non-toxic cheat free environment. Yes inaccurate bans happen but it's the nature of the beast with the limited tools we have. Better to have to sort out an inappropriate ban outside of game than to open the game to the more unsavory elements. For the record, and I hope it counts as a plus for these guys, I didn't see anything that looked fishy. As I stated I have been playing with quite a few guys who really make dude look about average, again no offence intended, and dont really see anything wrong. As for toxic chat meh, seems he was being goaded and accused of hacking by people who are pretty clueless about how the game works at the start of the video. I would venture to say he was a tad more restrained than I would have been. Also no offence Axle but I saw all but one of the people he killed in that tank and the one I didn't was in a common hidey hole. IMHO the ban should be lifted. lol if you are talking about Twitch feeds I wouldn't put much stock in that Twitch trolls are prevalent on all streams. Like i said above, man i didn't see anything that would remotely hint at anything on the cheating scale. just a slightly above average player. You know me Axle I'm the first one to call out a cheating bastard and usually with pretty salty language to emphasize the point. i just dont see it here. YMMV but that's my take. Hope it counts for something. Ahh the joys of running a server with less than 1% of the needed tools.

For a game still in Early Access, read extended open beta, to come in second only to Dota 2 for concurrent online players is pretty damned impressive. The FPP singles and duos have kicked the game up a notch and made the game a more tactical game. Im hoping FPP squads come in once all the bugs are resolved and it seems that most if not all the issues I noticed on patch day have already been hotfixed with fixes. Hotfix today is supposed to make lag MUCH better

Yeah they think they have found whats causing the lag. They have been pushing hotfixes pretty much all day yesterday. By the time I got on last night the only really laggy time was the initial drop area loading. After that it was ok, not great, but ok and manageable. I will say the FPP mode is gonna be 100% love once they get the kinks out of it with the lag and camera position. It's weird having the perspective of a homicidal 3 yr old. Still had a great time even with the initial drop lag and placed top 10 in all but one round. Its a completely different game in FPP. Oh a quick addition... The SKS is a freaking laser with a vertical grip attached and a cheek pad. I highly suggest you start using it. I'm actually running it with a M$16 both loaded out with grips stocks etc etc. 4x on the M416 and swap between the 4x/8x/and a 2x on the SKS and gotta say it found myself using it with the extended mag more than the 416. Super stable and deals a wallop. Main advantage the 416 has is the muzzle velocity so you dont have to lead as much but a 416/SKS combo is great for FPP. Carry a P18 for close in with an extended QD mag and a silencer and you basically have a micro UZI that doesn't take up a primary/secondary slot.

Yep I remember all those cool games back in the day. Its amazing how far PC games have come. Some of my all time favorites were the SSI D&D gold box games. I spent hours glued to those things. That's basically the Strategy of Bohica, Beer and I. lol there are a lot of us that need to practice the drop, grab a weapon and get out method of equipping. We spend way too much time gearing up.

Please be advised that previously we had access to chat logs, screen caps, etc etc. These tools have not been provided in BF1 for administrators so server admins on ANY server will not be able to provide you with these items as they once could have. We wish we could but it's just really not feasible at this time.

I have all the settings noted. You can do a 100% classic mode now....today. It will however be 100% unfindable in the browser unless you know the name of the server. Yeah I gcould spend hours and hours advertising it on different boards twitter etc but really I would actually like to play it and not spend that time doing PR work.

I guess I'm just kind of jaded at the moment. BF1 has pretty much lost all appeal to me due to the changes they are making and more importantly those they refuse to make. I SOOO want to build up a classic mode server yet two of the easiest features they could implement, Official Presets for Core, HC, and classic modes, and making them official presets in the server browser with associated Preset based QM feeds, remain ignored. Honestly the code for this exists and can basically be copied, pasted and then tweaked. These would benefit the clans more than anything and make the RSP program levels better. I posted on the CTE forum today basically begging them to pass the info along to whomever should see it but hold out little hope it will even be noted by them. Pretty much disgusted with the whole thing as it is now. Glad you guys are able to get the server up and running and wish I felt compelled to play the game it's just not really turning my cranks at the moment but as you all know I'm a cranky old bastard so who knows.

First Person Lovin!

It's here! What is HC mode in PUBGs? First Person only servers! For EU and NA servers only and for Solo and Duo only for now. I seriously can't wait for this. No more 3rd person peeking is gonna make this a different game. Can't wait to try this out.
