Arma 3 #milsim Live Stream ft. 21st Ranger Regiment
Tonight, Saturday April 16th, starting at 18:00 PDT (21:00 EDT / April 17th, 01:00 UTC/03:00 CEST / please click here for all time zones[www.timeanddate.com]), Bohemia Interactive will be hosting the first ever 'Arma 3 #milsim Live Stream'[www.twitch.tv], featuring the Arma community group 21st Ranger Regiment[21starmyrangers.enjin.com]. Providing a first hand demonstration of high-level military roleplay in Arma 3, this special event will offer a demonstration of co-operative milsim gameplay as we join the 21st Ranger Regiment on one of their operations. The stream will kick-off with a briefing, which will lead into the AO deployment, and continue by spectating the 40+ players taking part in the mission. During the event, we'll also be discussing what it takes to set up an event like this, talk about the mods that are used, how to form or join a (milsim) unit, and more. [www.twitch.tv] Special guests in the stream will include the leader of the 21st Ranger Regiment, Vegas (@21stRangerRGT), and one of the creators of the popular Arma 3 ALiVE mod[alivemod.com], Friznit. They will be accompanied by our very own Arma 3 Community Developer Greg Becksted (@BohemiaBeck) and QA Assistant Adam Hurta (@Adam_BIS). That makes it over 150 weeks since we began[dev.arma3.com] the public Alpha. It continues to be our pleasure to collect relevant information, share news, highlight cool community productions, and be as open as we can about the state of the game. There's no end in sight either. We're working towards the Apex[store.bistudio.com] expansion, and very likely we will not stop there. Back in the now, we have indeed decided to delay update 1.58[forums.bistudio.com] a little bit. The feature we are keen to include was meanwhile staged on Dev-Branch[dev.arma3.com]: weapon switching on-the-move (more on that later in this report). Revive mod
You must be a Medic to use the Med kit, and you must be a Engineer to use the Tool kit, and you must be a UAV specialist to summon UAVs, etc. With that said, if you have medical supply's (not the Med kit), you can treat/heal yourself, but you will not achieve full health unless you are treated by a Medic with a Med kit

Revive mod
The mission we use is made by "Ghost," which has several mods pre-installed in the script: - Auto generates missions randomly - Added script to shows names of players on map - Added Evac support choppers for "Pick up" in the field - Added "Cargo Drop" for for delivering vehicles to the field - Added Tele-porter to the Marina for Sea vehicles on the Coast - Added Ground vehicles "on-demand" request menu that alows players to chose their own aircraft - Added Air vehicles "on-demand" request menu on demand menu that alows players to chose their own vehicles - Added "Revive" function to bring playrs back from the Arma afterlife - Added "Virtual Armory" to rearm your backpack, vest, and uniform items needed for the field/mission Berreta and ACS added: - Added "Tow Ropes," so you can attach to vehicles and tow them (handy for moving aircraft into position on the airfield) - Added "Cargo Ropes" for use with the helicopters to move vehicles and equipment to the field - Moved Vehicle menu and HALO drop, and Marina Tele-porter to the camo netted area - Added a few vehicle to the airfiled, like the chopper with the open suicide seats - Added a mobile "Med Station" to treat returning soldiers from missions (walk near building and you will be healed) - Added modifier to reduce weapons sway and recoil - Added hud_vitals mod, which shows you health, compass, and ammo inventory (this can be download though Steam) - Added a weapons sound pack to the server, but I don't remember the name of it, as I don't use it yet I may be missing a few items, so this list may change.

The access code for the Steam beta branch is Arma3Update158RC. Beware that this branch will require over a gigabyte of downloaded data, and may still be updated several times during the testing period. A few official servers[arma3.com] are running the RC build, and more will likely follow suit. You'll find an indication of the highlighted changes on our forums[forums.bistudio.com], which is also where we'd like to ask you to share your feedback[forums.bistudio.com]. Another good channel to discuss the RC is the Arma subreddit.
