Overwolf Teamspeak Display
If you have a connection problem ...simply leave TS3 and come back ...that will fix it

A couple of Battlefield & Teamspeak tips
Tip 1) Battlefield 4: If you are the squad leader and want to direct your squad to an objective, all you have to do is point at the objective and double-tap the "Q" key. This speeds up the process rather than pointing at an objective, hitting the "Q" key, and then left mouse clicking. Tip 2) New Teamspeak Status from TSViewer: While viewing the Teamspeak Status block on the main page, click on the letters "TS 3 Info," which will take you to tsviewer.com where they have cool statistical data about our TS channel. I have added an attachment to show you what is looks like.

Overwolf Teamspeak Display
Overwolf can be downloaded from directly Teamspeak, so open Teamspeak and go to: Tools > Download Overwolf and install The tool has many functions for gaming, one of which is a Teamspeak overlay (display) that can be seen while playing Battlefield 4. You can see who is talking, and who has entered or left the channel. Very cool! I made a very short video showing what it looks like in action, so check it out. NOTE: BE SURE TO GO TO 1920x1080 Full HD and FULL SCREEN so you can see it (Note: Start looking in the upper left-hand corner) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Erab7ftSpQ

Teamspeak Status ***New***
I've added a new TS status that will auto refresh each time the website is visited, or you click "The Armory" logo at the top of the page. or you hit F5 on your keyboard. It's a free service from a group called tsviewer.com. The old script we had a month ago requires the web host to open a port to communicate with the TS server, and they don't like to do that.

Tapatalk on Forum
For any of you who have a smartphone (Windows, Android, IOS), you can download a free app to view the forums. The app is called "Tapatalk," and you can access the Armory website using it. It works great, so give it try when you get a chance. When searching for the forum, use the keyword "armory," and you will see it. Also, I will be seeking more RSS content to be sent to the Armory website, so if you can think of any website we should RSS, please let me know. Gator (Larry) Here is a screenshot of what it looks like: /monthly_06_2014/post-2-0-98622600-1403384296_thumb.jpg

Website outage explained
I will try to explain... I read an article that said InvisionPower Board would be releasing a new version of IP Board soon (4.0, as we are using 3.4 now), but they required all forum owners to change the "Character" set to utf8_x_x. Our website was using character set latin1.x.x, so prior to the release, it needed to be changed. The character sets are what websites use to read various languages/characters. Anyway, I used a tool they provided for the conversion, but the website started freezing horribly, so I attempted to fix it. The more I tried, the worse it got, and so on. It finally got to the point where it would not start at all, so after paying $50 for tech support (I let it slip this last time to save money), I sent in a request for help. They wrote me back and said I needed to update my login information, which I did. They then said they would attempt to fix it, but they would require me to give them complete access to the main Cpanel (controls website), which I complied. After gaining access, they then told me that I would require some changes to the database variables for the site to work properly, so I contacted the web host, Inmotion Web Hosting, and sent them the variables that needed to be changed. Well, Inmotion support wrote me back, and said that thearmory.cc was on a "shared" server, and they would not make those changes for just one website. They suggested I move to one of their VPSs (virtual private servers), which starts at about $29.99 a month. I was actually considering this, but thought I should try another shared hosting company, so I started searching for a deal. Meanwhile, the website was still down, cutting everyone off. I finally discovered GoDaddy.com, and it seemed like they were offering a good deal, so I signed up for their service and moved all of the files. After packaging up 5.5 Gigabyte of files, I downloaded them, and subsequently uploaded them to the new site. As you know, from a home connection, this took some time. I them moved the DNS nameservers to point to the new site, which is why you may have experienced the site coming and going for the past 24-48 hours. I kept this explanation as short as short as I could, so I hope you now understand the turmoil I was faced with in getting the site back up. Hopefully all is stabilized for now.

If you have not played it yet, I would download it and give it try. They are instantly giving away the beta if you sign up now. No waiting!

Thoughts on Battlefield Hardline?
I agree, it should have been add-on pack and not a full "priced" game. A few of us on TS were discussing this same issue yesterday. The game is enjoyable, especially "Blood Money." I would have responded to this post sooner, but the website took a major dump on me.

How to take down Gunship with SRAW
A short video to show how to bring down the Gunship with a SRAW. - Launch the missile just ahead the gunship - As the missile approaches the Gunship, start leading the missile keeping it to the front left - Once the missile is under the Gunship, keep working to the left as to keep it inline Here is a video to show you how I did it. The video is unedited, so nothing fancy here ...just raw footage. NOTE: BE sure to go to FULL SCREEN and 1080P setting...
