  1. I don't care if they push games back, I would be unbelievably disappointed if they didn't produce something to the Blizzard standard.
  2. This one has my vote.
  3. Talking about it makes me want to play through Diablo II again.
  4. Yeah, there has been a lot of talk about a new Diablo. I didn't know they were announcing another game, but now I am very excited. It could still be WoTLK because they have yet to announce an exact release date, but I don't think that the release date is that big of a deal to change the site page. I guess we will see. BTW... see the eyes in the center of the ice?
  5. I always vote that there is no global warming, but that isn't exactly what I think. I don't think there is global warming in the same sense most people do. While, it is true the the Earth is getting warmer, it is also a natural thing. We will be fine. The Earth will be fine. The question is what will happen? Well, for example, anyone can recall weather forecasters getting the weather report wrong. They barely predict an entire week, why do we think "scientists" can predict even the next 5 years? Truly, they can't, they are guessing. If they are right then big brownie points, if not well, then guess we don't have to worry about that one. Besides, most of the major consequences we predicts have the phrase "over the next 100 years". Over the next 100 years? Do you think that Teddy Roosevelt should have predicted and stopped the problems we have today? What makes what we know so much better in predicting the next 100 years? Also, to think we can "prevent" it, especially now, is stupid. It is like "environmentalists" trying to save an endangered species or stopping forest fires. If you were a true environmentalist then you would understand that it is better to let nature be than manipulate it to stay exactly how it is.

Here was my first car. http://photos-f.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v108/59/110/570097537/n570097537_131525_8078.jpg
  7. Now that I stare at it I can choose which way I want to see it. But it takes longer for me to see it going clockwise, opposed to naturally seeing it go counter clockwise.
  8. I have Audiosurf on Steam. Tt is a game that takes your music and makes a "road" that you collect point on. But there is a mode that just plays song and you watch it go through the song.
  9. Java programming work...oh, that wasn't an option.
  10. I am guessing the program is just adjusting the ACK requests and turning off that algorithm? Makes sense that is works. There are a lot of old settings that were designed for slower connections. (Like the pipelining request with browsers) If it lowers ping in COD4 then I might try it. I left WOW, but if I ever got back into it I would defiantly do this.
  11. I think you can do more than that. In AOE2 and 3 you can build like 12 or 15. I didn't like 3 that much, but the graphics were good.
  12. Wow, I forgot about AoE. That was my first RTS. But it would be hard to play anymore. You can only build 1 unit from a building at a time.
  13. Warcraft III When ever I think about playing an RTS, I go to Warcraft III. I like to see some of the custom maps people make. Some of them are done well enough to sell as there own game. Like DoTA for example, but that is because it is WAY over played. Rise of Legends I thought about getting Rise of Legends. It looks really good and I might get it now because of your review. (And I need something) Does it play the same as Rise of Nations? Dawn of War I never had really good online play. And the computers were too easy or too hard, never found a good medium. I enjoy RTS where I get a more individual control of each unit. Group unit don't make a whole lot of sense too me because it just seems like a mess. Starcraft 2 Why do you think they are going to blow it with Starcraft 2? I haven't played a Blizzard game yet that I don't like, and I have played them all. I think Starcraft 2 will be the best RTS since......well, the first one.

Aaa, engineer rushing. Such a wonderful tactic.
  15. This is when you start playing all of the java games on the internet. They can be interesting for a few minutes at a time, and there are tons of them. Otherwise, I am in the same boat. Just waiting for Starcraft 2, Left 4 Dead, and Spore. Then I should be good for awhile.
  16. I am taking summer classes. At least they only takes up half my summer.
  17. Wow, it is at $128 right now. Pretty substantial drop.
  18. Just stay home...all the time.

It is so you can kill two or three birds with one stone. The P90 is overpowered in real life, so they just did the same for COD.

I enjoy FPS on PC so much better. It feels too slow and robotic on consoles. There are plenty of games that work for console better though. Some 3rd person shooters, racing games, or anything that doesn't require precise omni directional movement or camera control. But I will say that the Wii has entered into an area that no other console or PC can do very well...yet.
  21. Good ol' ExxonMobil http://www.tomsguide.com/us/Exxon-Mobil,news-1211.html
  22. Pimp it out!
  23. I don't know why, but I always like looking at this statistic. This was a year ago, but it is all relative. Oh, and obviously the cheapest are the OPEC countries. Global Gas Prices* (1 gallon=3.8 L) Most expensive per gallon: London, UK: $6.65 Paris, France: $6.62 Copenhagen, Denmark: $6.51 Oslo, Norway: $6.48 Berlin, Germany: $6.42 Least expensive per gallon: Caracas, Venezuela: $0.17 Tehran, Iran: $0.33 Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: $0.45 Kuwait City: $0.79 Cairo, Egypt: $0.86 *Prices as of May 2007 Source: Daily American This is just one of the worst graphical representations I have ever seen. Apparently it was published by the US DOE. http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/gas-price-breakdown-3.jpg I agree, these are going to be the companies that invest the most money into alternate energy. It is stupid to say that Exxon is positing record profits; technically most industries should be because of inflation. But Exxon is more than 20% above the SP500 over the last year. Earlier this year they were questioned about it, saying that they were in line with everyone else. And for the last year is was true, the entire sector and industry were up 20%. But there use to be a time, only 4 years ago when the entire sector was in perfect form with other major industries. The problem is that they are breaking off of it, AND I am ok with that, but they need to be putting these profits into research. Which goes back to the idea of profitability. The rest of the sector is becoming just as profitable as Gas/Oil because of the demand for energy in general. Which is why they also need to run all of their refineries and run them at a greater capacity than they do now. They have the control and they will keep it, even once we do start focusing on alternate fuels.
  24. Oil completely controls our economy. I don't mind paying for the research, but that isn't where it is going right now. ExxonMobile is netting the largest profits ever. If gas really cost $100 some per barrel then how are they as much as they are? They are increasing the price because the demand for it is elastic. There are no real good substitutes and my parents house is still 20 miles from where they work. So, they continue to pay more and more for gas because they don't have another option.
