the server was pretty good, but while I was in there by myself, ping was 75-80, whereas I got 40 from the regular server. Then again, it might be better for someone who is up north...

What are you talking about? WarCraft 3 cost about $60 when it first came out. It's no big deal. Games will get more expensive...

I use the Ghost Recon crosshairs, but I modified mine. I just used the one for the pistol on all my weapons and then made the lines thinner.It's very accurate and the only way you can miss is if you have the M249... My only problem is getting my hand to move the mouse so that the pointer is on the person's body... I don't have enough control...

I put the sound the way I wanted it, then saved my config file to another location as a backup...I played earlier today and my voice transmit didn't go down, YAY!!!

well, actually I turn it up before I connect, but ingame the volume seems to go lower at some point. I'm not sure what's causing it to get lowered. It's annoying because I can't raise it while in the middle of a game without reconnecting; something I don't want to have to do while in a scrim or match...I also know it's not a prob with my microphone because I've tested it on the voicetweak application that comes with HL and it works just fine... It might be something with the HL software... it may be some auto-config file nonsense, but I've never made one of those. It could be when I use stopsound in console or whenever there is a radio command that is issued, but all that's just speculation.

Actually, it only messes up on the first spray... nevermind... but also, my voice transmit volume keeps getting lowered and I have to go back to the customize menu to raise it up. Then I have to replace the pldecal.wad file and doing that constantly is becoming a pain... Is there a console command or variable in the config file for voice volume? Again, any help is appreciated...

Well, it seems that I do the spray thing right, but whenever I try to spray ingame it seems to switch back to the default spray... I don't mess with the customize menu or anything. It worked perfectly fine on the previous versions, but my pldecal.wad file doesn't want to cooperate or something...Could it have to do something with my config file? If so, what variable would I need to change? Any help is greatly appreciated...

That happens to me when I create a server so I can run around and learn a map that isn't running on the TAC...It's no big deal... I figured it's just a glitch with OpenGL that they'll never fix because it's related with the HL engine... Besides, it doesn't affect gameplay.
