I used to know how to play the keyboard a little, but it got boring. It could be me, or maybe the instructor wasn't passionate about playing the keyboard and it rubbed off on me.

Well, my Japanese is pretty bad considering all I know is bits and pieces picked up from subtitled anime. I'm not necessarily studying it. 8)

I first HL in 2001 in the computer club at my school. Some guys were playing Firearms so FA was the first game I played (FA 2.5). I think the first server I played on was ALCOMS in Finland. There I was for the first time with FA on my comp with a dialup connection. I chose connect to the best connection found, and go figure, it was ALCOMS. I eventually found the TA server somehow and kept playing there from then on. Eventually I put in an application and I was in, so with membership in a clan, I kept playing despite having 56k. Eventually I got DSL and I was uber-excited the first time I played with no lag. Now I'm at college and still playing FA on my uber-leet 10 Mbit connection. B)

I only play aim_ maps. Mainly aim_ak-colt or aim_map_usp. I'm not too fond of the original maps, but NIPPER custom maps are really fun to play.

I know. That's what I'm saying. Why not make it so that you take damage or something when you fire it while moving? That would be a more realistic alternative to "cannot fire while moving."

Forget the steil. I miss a time when I wouldn't see an annoying "cannot fire while moving" message. (T_T) I though this was a realism mod; in real life I can fire a weapon while moving. Instead of not allowing it to fire, why don't they make it cause you damage if you're moving while firing, ne? I think that's a good idea. ( )

But don't forget, Luker, that you also get a CD key for $5. That's the real bargain. But then again, a DoD CD key is not as great as a Half-Life Retail CD key. 8)

NS: Combat is like FA. That's why it rocks. You guys are just all smitten by the great textures and maps that NS is known for having. Gameplay is fun because it is FA-ish.

I scoff at your prices. Why can't they have any cheap soundcards?! I got my one for $21 and it's great, 5.1 output and everything! Cheapest one I saw there was $50 CDN. :roll: :wink:
