  1. You don't have to host it, but you can point to the site where they can get it. Also, put up a link for Media Player Classic. It doesn't have all the useless frills, but it is very stable.
  2. Age

I'm 18, but my brother robbed me of my real chance to post. I'm countering that one dude's vote against Bush. MUAHAHAHAHA
  3. I don't see enemy names through walls. I feel cheated.
  4. I like the way my Dell looks. Midnight Gray! All the WAY!!!
  5. LOL. That was pretty good.
  6. I just changed the "renderer.allowAllRefreshRates" from 0 to 1 and it worked. I read somewhere that fixing refresh rates locked by XP can lead to that problem I had. Because I modified my refresh rate with ReForce, it caused this problem. After I changed the setting, it loaded. Now I have a thing with multiplayer where I load about 75% of the map and it closes to the desktop. I might need more RAM or something. Any suggestions would help, but I'll also be looking around on the the DC and BF1942 forums. Are we using version .5 or .6 on our server?
  7. Thanks Macgyver. Problem solved. You can delete this thread since the necessary info is in another thread. I feel dumb for not looking around first.
  8. Well, I looked at the readme for BF1942 and it says that I require a sound card. I have integrated sound, so will not having a sound card be a problem? I'm wondering because when I try to run BF1942 it will show the BF1942 logo, go to a black screen and then just return to Windows. It doesn't even show the opening animation (I saw it on someone else's computer).I'm just wondering because if that's the case, then I better look into getting a sound card. :?

When it comes to realism, DoD is just about the best. Usually you can finish someone off in 2 or less shots. If you're Axis, choose the German Grenadier as your class. Instant 1-shot kill with that weapon.
  11. You weren't lying about the extra large reservoir.
  12. Hehehe, why was my name called out? Do I really come off as a gangster redneck? SWEET!
  13. ACK! They haxored my IE window. HOW?!!?!?!?!That's pretty cool, though.
  14. Mozilla uses more resources on my computer than Internet Explorer, but you gotta love the tabbed browsing.
  15. Yeah, people can tell differences in fps, but most people can't tell the difference between 90 and 190... I can't really tell the difference between 85 (on my old comp at home) and 100 (my new comp). It's handy though because the framerate is higher, therefore more info is sent to my comp (good for climbing up walls) 8) It's also good when my Vid card starts to get worked (it's a 64MB GF4 MX) because although I get a drop in fps, it only drops to about 60, which isn't too bad.anything above 100 fps is kinda of useless... IMO...
  16. Yeah, that's Super Mario Bros. 3, but SUGE!!! That's crazy... I could never beat that game, much less even come close to seeing Bowser. That's a lot of hours of playing there... I feel so small now. 8)
  17. Exactly. Not everyone is meant to be in the special forces. If you don't have the dedication or patience (or intelligence? ) to figure it out on your own, then you don't need to be qualified for SF. It took me about 5 hours (space of 3 days) to finally figure out how to get through... I almost missed a class, but I finished the training just in time 8)
  18. You people disgust me! Gunbound?! WOW. All I can say is "wow."Waste your time on something better foo's. Hehe. just kidding. It's an alright game. Definitely not better than FA, but it's ok when you want to play something and not be too serious about it. I only have a wooden hammer. Haven't played it in about a month now...
  19. UGH... I saw a hairy foot. :? Reminds me of my dad's foot. I need more peripheral's for my PC. Need a flight stick and a wheel with pedals...
  20. Ahem! It's "a partridge in a pear tree." Just some FYI... 8) Dude, how do you people get so much nonsense on your computers? I've never had problems with viruses, ever. *scratches head* I'm confuzzled. Stay away from the "bad" websites. Whatever those may be...
  21. LOL... Even a helmet won't do much in that situation. The only thing that you can do to avoid death is pray for a server crash at that instant. Good stuff....

LOL Scorpio. I once had a dream with the Juggernaut and that ugly thing from Aliens in it. It seemed so real. Yeah sure, waktasz... I've seen worse coming from you.

    Laffles...
  24. Yeah, I did. But today I finally passed Special Forces training. WOOT. And the marksmanship training is SOSOSOOSSOSO easy. I mean, third go through it, I got 38/40. I'm sniper qualified. The breathing is simple, just wait for you to breathe out or breathe in, and fire. Don't fire in the middle of breathing or it messes everything up. Plus, the ironsights move up and down as you breathe, affecting your accuracy.Good luck. I like the pace. FA is a realism mod, but AA is more realistic. I will own you next time Flipster.
